De Overnight Camel Safari - (buiten de gebaande paden) is ideaal voor degenen die het nomadische woestijnleven willen leiden. Deze tochten bieden je de vrijheid om de woestijn op een unieke manier te verkennen, terwijl je door het gevarieerde landschap van de Thar-woestijn wordt gevoerd, inclusief dorre struikgewas, velden die zijn geploegd door vasthoudende boeren, rotspartijen, bezaaid met hutten en tempels en veel mogelijkheden bieden. mogelijkheden om de plaatselijke fauna te spotten. Deze tour zal volledig buiten de gebaande paden zijn en je zult de nacht doorbrengen met slapen onder de sterren in een warm en gezellig bed. Deze nachtelijke kameelsafari begint om 06.30 uur en eindigt de volgende dag rond 11.00 uur.

We were picked up at the hotel on time. It was two wonderful days. The guide with his boys put a lot of effort into it. We have always felt very safe.

Highly recommend this tour with Trotters! Great time with the camel dudes out in the sand, they cooked some lovely food and it was in general a very nice, relaxing antidote to the craziness Rajasthan has to offer! I returned wanting to become a man camel of the desert but unfortunately I had to go home.

One of the best adventures I’ve done! The guide was super friendly, dune bashing was thrilling, and the sunset & sunrise in the desert felt magical. We took the non touristy desert safari and the best part was the whole dune was ours. dinner were the perfect end to the day. And the best part was met new people and made a connections. Everyone was really nice and punctual on departures and drop off. Safari was really nice for a 1 day trip, theres alot of dunes at the end spot where you sleep. Beautiful starry night sky as well, and everything is well organized. Would definitely recommend to people looking for a short safary experience. If you have more time though I would definitely recommend doing a longer safary of a couple days. There youd be able to be surrounded by dunes as far as the eye can see, and the sky even more breath taking, one of the most beautiful sceneries the world has to offer.
Truly one of the top highlights of my 6 weeks in India! I was lucky to have my trusty guide Dalpat and Rambo the camel to go around the Thar Desert. This company delivered on their non-touristic branding, the whole time I barely encountered other travelers and we spent the bulk of our time traversing dunes and other scenery. After spending time in many cities, this was a welcomed escape!

Astounding experience! A beautiful, peaceful non touristic route, and a magic experience sleeping under the stars. Our group consisted of myself, my partner and my partner’s parents and we all loved it. Our driver Chhagan and our guides Prakash and Hamad were caring, conscientious and really looked after us. This was an unforgettable experience! Yes, there are cheaper camel safaris out there but you will end up in a tent city with hundreds of other tourists. This experience felt much more authentic and it’s awesome knowing Trotters is owned and run by local villagers. At the end of the tour, our driver Chhagan took us briefly by his home in a village where we had the privilege of sharing chai with his family. I will be recommending this experience to everyone.
