牛车水 Murders is een nieuwe #gametours waarbij deelnemers in een scenario worden gegooid om puzzels op te lossen. De scène is Chinatown waar een seriemoordenaar vrij rondloopt en de hele natie wordt gegrepen door angst. Deelnemers worden gestrikt om de moordenaar te vinden door een reeks puzzels rond Chinatown op te lossen. Gespeeld in teams van 2 - 5 personen, bepalen de deelnemers de route die ze nemen en de keuze van de items om te kiezen. Overal verteld door onze toeristengids / gamemaster, duikt de gids overal in een personage. Dit personage heeft sterke banden met Chinatown, omdat hij daar 48 jaar heeft gewoond en via de gids deelt hij/zij hun band met de mensen die de gids kende en waarmee hij opgroeide. Tot de personages behoren Samsui-vrouw Tante Geok, geldschieter Raj, proviandwinkeleigenaar Ah Kee en anderen.

What a great way to learn a bit about the history of Chinatown. Our guide expertly wove the stories of the area into our mystery as we wandered through the area. This would be a great activity for families trying to get their children to be involved in learning about the history of their holiday destination. Highly recommend!
This time I used the Singapore Rewards Program to participate in this event. It is really worth recommending! Rather than just wandering around the area to see the beauty, it’s really interesting to learn about the history of Chinatown through an escape room! Recommended: Chinatown Murders Guide: Julian
This is a must try fun experience for those who enjoy puzzles & solving mysteries. The guide was friendly. The puzzles were interesting. Total of six puzzles to solve. Ten minutes to solve each puzzle. Guide will help if needed. A card will be given after solving each puzzle. Make sure each card is different. Guide accidentaly gave the same card which made solving the last puzzle impossible... lol. Guide fixed the error though. Among the items provided for the game, it would be good to have the UV light as well. The pace was good, not too rushing or too slow. Area covered walking were manageable. Not tiring for my 10yr old. Overall, it was good fun!

Really works the brain of mine, very creative way to solve the murderer. Fun way to walk around Chinatown. He gave history of a few places we stopped at.
