7 : 20 – 07 : 40 : Onze Gids en bus komen ophalen bij Hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter en transfer naar Ninh Binh via de snelweg (1,5 uur, stop ~ 20 minuten naar toilet)
✔ 10.25-10.45: De gids neemt je mee naar Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, opgericht in 968, het bleef hoofdstad tot het begin van de 11e eeuw toen keizer Ly Thai het naar het hedendaagse Hanoi verhuisde. ✔ Aangekomen in dit prachtige bergachtige landschap, loop je 300 meter naar de tempels van de Dinh en Le Dynasty ✔ 12.10: Geniet van speciale gerechten in een lokaal restaurant in Tam Coc met lunchbuffet
✔ 14.00 uur: de reis begint in Tam Coc. Tam Coc Boat Tours vanuit Tam Coc Wharf roeien. De boottocht wordt georganiseerd door lokale mensen met beide handen en benen. ✔ Bezoek 3 magische grotten: Hang Ca (eerste grot), Hang Hai (tweede grot), Hang Ba (derde grot) tijdens Tam Coc River Tour ✔ 16.30: Ontspan met fietsen rond Tam Coc in 30-45 minuten. Als u tijdens het oogstseizoen reist, ziet u veel rijstvelden in gouden kleuren
✔ 17.05: De laatste bestemming, Mua Cave. De grot wordt vergeleken met "Grote muur van China". Hier loop je 500 treden om de top van de Mua-grot te bereiken en kijk dan uit voor een prachtig overzicht van Ninh Binh ✔ 18.10 uur: Ontspan en stap in de limousinewagen om terug te keren naar Ha Noi ✔ 19.45-19.55 uur: aankomst in Hanoi en afzetten bij je hotel in de oude wijk van Hanoi! Heel erg bedankt voor je onvergetelijke reis! OPMERKING: het reisplan kan het schema, de tijd en de te bezoeken plaatsen wijzigen, afhankelijk van het weer en de actuele situatie om de veiligheid van bezoekers te waarborgen. The tour was well organised and the area toured is spectacular and well worth a visit. It was made all the more special by our wonderful tour guide, Snow, who was very knowledgeable and provided a delicious lunch at her family home.

Had a really great time - Our host was incredible; and the rapport I was able to build with other guests was so good. The only thing that was hard was the temperature in Ninh Binh when we went, but that's nobody's fault! Remember to bring a hat! Our host gave us recommendations for food and shopping; a brief history lesson while transferring, and even taught us some common Vietnamese phrases! :D
The countryside is beautiful. So glad we did this tour. Our guide, Victor, was really fun and we had a great time. Highly recommend this tour.
We decided to pay a bit extra for the private tour and it was a really good decision. The organisation and attention to detail was exceptional. We were picked up on time from our hotel by our brilliant driver and driven to Ninh Binh. There, we met our lovely guide for the day, Snow. She was exceptional from start to finish. So knowledgeable and considerate. She was brilliant at taking our photos and looking after us. We started by climbing to the the top of the Mua Caves. It was good doing this first as it wasn’t too hot or busy. Stunning views. We then did a bike ride to the ancient city, Snow was full of insightful information here. The lunch was delicious and so generous. We finally did a 2 hour boat ride of the Trang A grottoes, which was a highlight of our whole trip in Vietnam and we would strongly recommend. It’s worth the drive out of Hanoi. Overall, a fantastic day made special by Snow. Would not hesitate giving it 5*s and recommending to anyone wanting to visit Nimh Binh! Snow was fantastic with the attention to detail and would always take pictures at any opportunity. The trip would not have been the same without her.

The trip turned out to be beyond our expectations. Christine who helped us with booking the tour was also instrumental in arranging ground transport for us. Hanoi Explore travels is highly recommended as they were propt in responding to messages and were always available to help. Also the prices charged by them we reasonable and overall I will not hesitate even for a second to give them a 5 star rating.

The local guide (Thao) was very friendly and responsible. Thanks to her, our trip in Ninh Binh was smooth and very comfortable. The itinerary was well planned, giving us ample time to explore the places and even take some lovely photos! The transfer vehicle between Hanoi and Ninh Binh was very clean and comfortable as well. Highly recommend this tour!

Thao was lovely and spoke great English. The tour was beautiful and you could tell Thao is really proud of where she lives, and this pride shone through the tour. We saw some great people, learnt some interesting things about Vietnamese culture and overall had a great time.
