Geniet van deze tour naar de prachtige Mua-grotten, de oude hoofdstad Hoa Lu en Tam Coc, met karstformaties en grotten die je per boot kunt verkennen. De boottocht naar Tam Coc Bich Dong is het mooiste hoogtepunt van de route. Fietsen is een zeer ontspannende ervaring om te genieten van de frisse lucht van het platteland Klim naar de top van de Mua-berg voor een panoramisch uitzicht op Tam Coc. Bezoek de oude hoofdstad Hoa Lu met de tempels Dinh en Le. 7.30 - 8.15 uur: onze toeristenbus haalt je op bij je hotel in de oude wijk van Hanoi of het operagebouw van Hanoi (als je niet in de oude wijk bent) voor vertrek naar Ninh Binh Place (ongeveer 100 km in het zuiden van de stad Hanoi)
Bezoek de oude hoofdstad Hoa Lu van Vietnam tussen 968 en 1010. Je krijgt de kans om meer te weten te komen over de Vietnamese geschiedenis in het feodale systeem onder de Dinh-, Le- en Ly-dynastie.
Geniet van de fietstijd op de rustige landweg om het dagelijkse leven van de lokale dorpelingen te verkennen 11h45: Lunchbuffet in het restaurant met veel lokale gerechten, geitenvlees en gebakken rijst…. Vegetarische gerechten zijn altijd beschikbaar in het lunchbuffet.
13.30 uur: bezoek Tam Coc in 1,5 uur per bamboeboot. Tijdens de boottocht zult u verrast worden door de charmante schoonheid hier met het rijstveld, de rivier, het water, de wolken, de lucht en het prachtige grottenstelsel. Ze maken allemaal een meesterwerk dat Vietnamese mensen "Halong Bay op het land" noemden
Blijf de Mua-grot bezoeken en je kunt de top van Lying Dragon Mountain bereiken. De plaats trekt bezoekers met zijn vele interessante verhalen. Beklim 500 stenen trappen, hier kun je helemaal naar Tam Coc kijken, geniet van een prachtig panoramisch uitzicht op het platteland en de Ngo Dong-rivier. Of je kunt vanaf hier de zon zien ondergaan (Als het een mooie dag is)

- 07.15 - 8.00 uur: ophalen bij hotels in de oude wijk van Hanoi (tijd om op te halen, afhankelijk van de locatie van je hotel...). Als klanten niet in de oude wijk van Hanoi verblijven, kom dan vóór 07.20 uur naar het operagebouw van Hanoi, Trang Tien-straat 01 om in de bus te stappen.
- Geef geen fooi als de lokale bevolking dit vraagt, we kunnen ze niet tegenhouden, maar waarschuwen onze toerist)
- Klanten verblijven in de oude wijk van Hanoi, maar zien geen hotel/adres in de te boeken lijst -> Geen zorgen, kies een hoteloptie die u in de lijst kunt zien om de boeking af te ronden, dan komen we u ophalen. Klanten moeten in dit geval zo snel mogelijk contact met ons opnemen via e-mail/telefoon/zalo/whatsaap om de ophaalinformatie te bevestigen
- Klanten verblijven niet in de oude wijk van Hanoi. Kies een hoteloptie die u kunt zien/of kies "hotel staat niet vermeld" om de boeking af te ronden en neem vervolgens contact op via e-mail/telefoon/whatsaap/zalo... -> wij zal dan het beste ophaalpunt aanbevelen.
- Dingen om mee te nemen: Paraplu/hoed, shirts (bescherm de huid in de hete zomer en felle zon, schoenen om te wandelen, klein geld, zonnebrillen, zonnebrandcrème, camera, klein water, snacks, regenjassen, insectenspray... Jassen (in de winter ).
- Fietsen is geen professionele activiteit en wij zijn geen professionele fietsers, wij zijn toeristen. Fietsen is een extra service, gewoon voor de lol en gratis, niet inbegrepen in de prijs (klanten betalen niet voor fietsservices). Het is een heel kleine activiteit in het hele pakket, we concentreren ons niet op fietsactiviteiten. Houd er rekening mee dat: - Klanten het fietsen kunnen overslaan als ze zich niet op hun gemak voelen - Klanten die niet fietsen, kunnen rondlopen om foto's te maken of gewoon ontspannen in het restaurant om op anderen te wachten. - Fietsen zijn niet geschikt voor kinderen jonger dan 2 jaar oud. - Controleer de fietsen zorgvuldig voordat u ze gebruikt, veel toeristen weten niet hoe ze deze moeten gebruiken en beschadigen de fietsen.

We had a great time on this tour. Our tour guide Sunny (Lahn) was fantastic, she was engaging and kept us on track the best she could with part of the group not really caring about time restraints. The bike ride was scenic and allowed us to view the local sights in a different perspective. Lunch after the bike ride was fine, the buffet was nothing special but the restaurant was clean and there was no shortage of food. We came in June so it was very hot, especially the boat tour. Nearly 2 hours on the boat in the hot afternoon sun, so come prepared with hat and sunscreen. The Lying Dragon Mountain was our last stop on the tour, you can choose to climb up or you can stay down in the park. Again, it was very hot, we climbed the mountain but it would be advised if you aren’t in good health or physically fit that it would be extremely difficult to do the climb in the heat. Running shoes aren’t a must, but they definitely helped.
Really enjoyed this excursion everything on the itinerary was achieved everything was well above expectations the only downside was in the gardens all the lotus flowers had finished but everything was brilliant

We booked this excursion to Ninh Binh thanks to the wise advice of Thomas, manager of the Hanoi Moonlight Hotel. Thomas listened to our desires and was able to guide us and organize this incredible ride. Ninh Binh, nicknamed Halong Bay on land, is less crowded than Halong Bay and the sampan ride in the Tam Coc caves is worth the detour. Picturesque and beautiful landscape, I highly recommend.

What a fun day! We left early for Ninh Binh, the mini bus picked everyone up and off we went. Our guide for the day was Bao - he’s very friendly and has an infectious positive attitude, he shared so much information with us and spoke great English. Half our group was Vietnamese and so he switched between English and Vietnamese all day but you never felt like it was any effort at all. The day was busy - this is not a leisurely trip - but all activities were lots of fun and you still had a good time. We switched the order of things on the day to avoid the crowds and thankfully shared most attractions with a very low number of other tourists. Lunch at a local restaurant was buffet style and really good (plus so many choices - as a vegetarian I felt well looked after). The bike riding wasn’t too hard but still ensured you didn’t sit on a bus all day and saw some of the country side. I took so many photos! Instead of Tam Coc we did Trang An - very beautiful and tranquil. Nobody was pushy or tried to sell us anything - very relaxed. We learnt a good amount of history, saw amazing scenery and Bao made it all interesting and fun. Highly recommended - you won’t regret booking this. It’s a full day tour - we got back around 7ish. Also, I received all the information I needed prior to the trip from Amity (Phuong) - such great service. Thank you to all the team for a great day in Vietnam!
