Ontsnap aan Tokyo voor een dag vol ontdekkingen in onze comfortabele privébus met vertrek vanuit Shinjuku. Onder leiding van een Expert Engels sprekende Gids bezoekt u het Toshogu-heiligdom, Japans meest weelderige nationale schat. Bewonder het ingewikkelde houtsnijwerk en de tombe van de legendarische Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu terwijl je de verhalen leert die de Japanse geschiedenis hebben gevormd. Geniet tussen de bezienswaardigheden door van een verfijnde culinaire ervaring met een traditionele Shojin Boeddhistische lunch, met Nikko's beroemde lokale specialiteit, Yuba. Het avontuur gaat verder naar de adembenemende Kegon Falls, waar het water 100 meter de vallei in duikt. U zult ontspannen aan de serene oevers van het Chuzenji-meer aan de voet van de berg Nantai, een landschap omlijst door historische ambassades en spiritueel erfgoed. Degenen die de optie " + Lunch" hebben geselecteerd, hebben tijd om te eten. Anderen die dat niet hebben kunnen deze tijd gebruiken om te verkennen, of om hun eigen lunch te regelen in een ander restaurant.
We pauzeren bij Lake Chuzenji voordat we terugkeren naar Tokio. Dit is het beroemdste meer van de regio, aan de voet van de berg Nantai, een actieve vulkaan!
Met zijn 100 meter hoogte is de Kegon Waterval een van de top drie watervallen van Japan! Houd er rekening mee dat de toegang tot de betaalde lift niet bij de tourprijs is inbegrepen en optioneel is.

- Tour is gepland als vermeld uur, maar kan worden gewijzigd als gevolg van de verkeersomstandigheden.
- Draag schoenen die het mogelijk maken om soepel en gemakkelijk te lopen tijdens de tour.
- Neem in het koudere seizoen winterkleding mee, want de temperatuur in Nikko is over het algemeen koeler dan in Tokio.
- Wees op tijd. De bus zou geen enkele vorm van vertraging compenseren.
- Als je van plan bent om in Nikko te overnachten, kun je aan het einde van de tour uitstappen voor het station van Tobu Nikko. Laat het de Gids weten. Let op: dit heeft geen invloed op de tourprijs.
- Kinderen tot 5 jaar mogen gratis mee, maar krijgen geen busstoelen of lunch. Als er busstoelen of lunch nodig zijn, reserveer dan onder het kindertarief.
- Vanwege de aard van bepaalde bezienswaardigheden op deze tour (bijv. historische bezienswaardigheden, bergachtige gebieden of slecht onderhouden paden), moeten we u helaas informeren dat we deelname niet kunnen aanbevelen voor gasten die rolstoelen gebruiken.
- Om een goede werking van de tour te garanderen, verzoeken wij u zich strikt aan de geadviseerde vertrektijd te houden. Houd er ook rekening mee dat als u laat aankomt op het verzamelpunt, we u halverwege de tour niet kunnen toestaan vanwege beperkingen in het tourschema.

We returned to Nikko after 15 years and it has grown. The natural aspects are still ( in my opinion) it's biggest attractions. The forest and watercourses have a serenity that compliments the temples and shrines. The variety of restaurants and cafes should satisfy most people and the quirky shops selling second hand clothing or souvenirs can be found strung alone the main road. The locals are friendly and willingly help with directions.
Unprofessional tour guide who totally skipped the inner shrine when itinerary lists it as the most important part of the tour.
It was a great experience. Our guide Kyoto and Junko were very polite and helpful. Scenery was beautiful. It was one of the best experiences we had in Japan. A must do

Good itinerary to Nikko shrines, Keogon Falls, and Lake Chuzenji. Rain didn't allow us to see the beauty of the lake, but the rain and fog broke enough to see the magnificent Falls. Harry the guide was ok, but should have given the group more explicit instructions on where to use the milti-part entry ticket to the shrine area in Nikko Toshugo; most of the group missed seeing the dragon painted on the ceiling. The Japanese lunch was also an interesting experience, but may not be for everyone.
Minakao san is an excellent guide. She spoke excellent English, kept us informed during the trip of what to expect. She periodically provided periodic Japanese history and current events eg Golden week.
Had a lovely experience. The guide, Mai-san was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained with fun facts about Japan, it's history and culture. Just the right amount of walking around considering we only arrived the night before and still very tired and jetlagged. Uchida-San, the driver, was great as well as he navigated through the mountain road with ease. We came the right day as there was a festival on the day so saw some of the procession. The waterfall left a lot to be desired since it's not rainy season but all in all, had a really great day.
Amazing experience. Our guide was wonderful and everything went well. We couldnt see the waterfall due to weather conditions, but was a great tour.
I am sorry to say that the visit was badly organized. On a spring Sunday you have to expect loads of people to be there, the guide instead apparently did not know what to do because of the long queues so we had to skip part of the visit and take the rest of the tour in a rush. It took two hours to get to Nikko and on the way to get to our destination the guide told us it could take as long as five hours to go back to Tokyo because of the traffic jam, so we decided to take a train. The tour itself lasts less than 4 hours - lunch included. Lastly the guide spoke just a little English so language was a bit of a barrier for the tour. Honestly not worth the money nor the time, it’s a pity cause Nikko and the shrine are really beautiful and worth a visit.

Had a great time. Tour guide was wonderful. Be prepared lots of steps.. bring water ! Lots to see. Food was ok, we brought snacks with us also.
