Vanuit je hotel in Beiroet word je 's ochtends om 08:30 uur met een glimlach opgehaald. Je hebt bijna 1,5 uur om de beroemde JEITA GROTTOS te verkennen, een systeem van twee afzonderlijke, maar onderling verbonden, karstische kalksteengrotten met een totale lengte van bijna 10 kilometer, waarna je verder gaat naar je volgende belangrijke bezoek.
Daarna ga je verder naar je volgende belangrijke bezoek, het belangrijke verbazingwekkende standbeeld van de Maagd Maria in HARISSA met de auto door de berg.
Je zult het panoramische uitzicht op de baai van JOUNIEH en veel prachtige landschappen verkennen,
Daarna zult u genieten van het rijden met de belangrijkste kabelbaan van Harissa naar Jounieh of met de auto om door te gaan naar uw volgende belangrijke bezoek aan Byblos.
De haven van Byblos verkennen.. Beginnend met uw 1,5 uur durende rondleiding door de belangrijke locatie op het UNESCO-werelderfgoed van de prachtige Fenicische stad BYBLOS, een van de oudste continu bewoonde steden ter wereld, zult u genieten van het wandelen op de Marina kant vergieten naar het kasteel en de souk.
Dan heb je de mogelijkheid om het kruisvaarderskasteel in Byblos binnen te gaan, dat bekend stond als het kasteel van Gibelet, het grenst aan de Fenicische archeologische vindplaats met de ruïnes van de Tempel van Baalat Gebal en de Tempel van de Obelisken.
Daarna ga je naar een traditioneel restaurant om je mediterrane Libanese eten te nuttigen en dan zetten we je af naar je hotel.
Na het kasteel ga je naar de oude souk van Byblos, een oude markt waar je in veel lokale winkels antiek, souvenirs, lokale ambachten en diverse andere koopwaar kunt kopen.

Mr. Harake was the guide and driver of the day, and it was terrific; all the communication, services, and guides were perfect. The downside is that you cannot take pics at Jeita.

We were not contacted re pick up. Original time was 8.30. At 8.50 the hotel contacted them man’s they said couldn’t contact us. Every other company did plus the pick up was from our hotel so they could have got a message to us via them. Plus we had only paid 48 hours earlier so obvious we were going. Eventually turned up at 9.50 clapped out old car with a man who spoke very little English- it was meant to be a guided tour. We could have just got a taxi at substantially less cost.
Hello Miss Sally, We really apologize about what happened which was a popup block at the highway of Khaldi area by some protest people's so the minibus was stuck in the middle of the road and the operator was in this minibus too trying to talk with the poeple to let them pass but with no response, thats why the operator delay in calling you and we were trying to shift all the customer in this day to a private cars, sorry again for this issue, trust that we learned too much from this popup operation issue and we manage to have an internal process for such cases and sure we will serve you in a better way next time. This was a last minute booking as my other booked tour had cancelled. And it was a great choice. Pick up was from.my hotel, and was on time and preceded by a Whatsapp message with the name of the driver and car details including plate number. They're small but important details. There were three of us, and Jad the driver is helpful, interested and makes sure the day goes smoothly with arranging tickets for the various sights and coordinating lunch. It was a public holiday and traffic was lighter than usual which was nice. Stop one is at Jietta, the most extraordinary limestone caves, including a short boat trip through some.of the caves. The middle stop was Harissa, a monument to our lady of Lebanon and a modern church, high on a hill. It's hard to get a food look at the church, but the formed concrete roof/sides appear to reflect shapes in the stalagtites we'd seen earlier. Downhill is via cable car, appears ancient but offers views to the horizon as you descend. Jade was waiting at the bottom for the next part of the day, Byblos. There is a castle and the ruins of an village, very early evidence of human development. The site is quite open and there's lots ro see including a mini-amphitheatre. Then a walk through a Souk, which was very quiet, then lunch, which was very generous and delicious. Jad was informative and happy to answer questions and overall he helped to make this a really good day.

Great tour! I was picked up at 8:30am and back by 1:30pm, though I was the only one on my tour, so the time may run longer for groups. Harake was my driver, and he was professional, courteous, and patient. Highly recommended. Lunch is in an upscale restaurant, overlooking the water. Good portion sizes. A short boat tour in Jeita is included, absolutely beautiful.
