De Maid of the Mist is een populaire boottocht die bezoekers meeneemt op een reis dicht bij de basis van Niagara Falls, en biedt een opwindende ervaring met een close-up uitzicht op de Amerikaanse en Horseshoe Falls. Voor degenen die ervoor kiezen om in plaats daarvan door te gaan met de optionele Maid of the Mist-boottocht, brengt uw gids u naar de Prospect Point Observation Tower voor een close-up van de watervallen.
Terrapin Point is een schilderachtig observatiegebied op Goat Island in het Niagara Falls State Park en biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de Horseshoe Falls, een van de drie watervallen waaruit Niagara Falls bestaat. Het ligt aan de Amerikaanse kant van de grens en biedt een uitkijkpunt om de krachtige waterstroom en de mist die uit de watervallen opstijgt te zien. Het is meerdere malen gerenoveerd en beschikt over toegankelijke looppaden en uitkijkplatforms waar bezoekers van dichtbij kunnen genieten van het natuurlijke spektakel.

Tijdens uw wandeltocht door Niagara Falls, NY, zal uw gids u ontmoeten bij het zittende Nikola Tesla-standbeeld vlakbij de parkeerplaats op het geiteneiland. Goat Island staat erom bekend dat het een van de mooiste uitzichten heeft op zowel de Amerikaanse als de Canadese watervallen. Na een bezoek aan het Tesla-standbeeld brengt je gids je naar de volgende stop op je tour is Luna Island, dat de American en Bridal Veil Falls scheidt. Dit eiland heette oorspronkelijk Prospect Island, maar kreeg een nieuwe naam vanwege de beroemde maanregenbogen die er op heldere, maanverlichte nachten overheen verschijnen.

The entire experience, including the great work of the guide, the Maid of the Mist ride, and the Cave of the Wind, was simply not to miss. Can't recommend it enough. Our entire family was blown away (we almost were at the Cave of the Mist)
This was tremendously overpriced. It says skip-the-line tickets but that’s not accurate. We had to stand in all the normal lines. The observation deck was closed so that wasn’t an option, despite being claimed as an admission for this tour. The guide was nice enough but all she did was walk us to the places. She shared very little information. It was less of a tour and more like a person to guide you from place to place. We could’ve done the same things, on the same schedule, walking the same distance, and waiting the same amount for literally half the price if we had just did it on our own, using the well-marked state park signage.
The whole family had a great time. The views were amazing, the lines were fast, the boat wasn't too crowded, and we didn't even get as wet as we did on the Cave of the Winds tour.
You will get wet on Cave of the Winds even with the poncho. However, it is absolutely worth it. Mist boat gets you very close and it also great. Mist ride is about 15 minutes. Do expect some wait time in line for elevators down and up from the Cave tour. Even at 7pm on June 28, the wait was about 25 minutes to get down. Up was a bit quicker. Overall, highly recommend this.
Had a great experience with Rich as our tour guide! He was super knowledgeable and made everything really interesting without it feeling overwhelming. He was also right on time and even texted us to let us know he was on his way, which was a nice touch. Even our two teenagers thought he was great, which says a lot! Overall, really easygoing and enjoyable—would definitely recommend!

We did have a wonderful time our tour guide . The Mainer of the mist was awesome exciting and vibrant experience with many tourists enjoying too the scenic view . The caves of the wind is exciting but unfortunately we were not able to explore down the George due to the season preparation weather .thou we tried to go up to experience the feeling of the water falls. But unable due to high wind and its drizzle hard. But we still have good time taking pictures and listening the force of the falls. By be next time we need to come early month

We enjoyed the walking tour. Informative and had a great time. Highly recommend taking this tour. But, make sure you wear good walking shoes.
