Optionele extra attractie : De Niagara City Boat Cruise is een van de meest opwindende en meeslepende manieren om de majestueuze Niagara Falls te ervaren. Aan boord van de boot wordt u meegenomen op een onvergetelijke reis naar de basis van de watervallen, met een ongeëvenaard, close-up uitzicht op een van 's werelds beroemdste natuurwonderen. De cruise brengt je recht omhoog naar de donderende Horseshoe Falls, waar je de mist op je gezicht kunt voelen en het gebrul van het water kunt horen terwijl het naar beneden stroomt in de rivier beneden. Terwijl de boot door de mist navigeert, zie je ook de American Falls en Bridal Veil Falls, die hun eigen prachtige uitzicht vanaf het water bieden. Houd er rekening mee dat de boot alleen tijdens de zomer-/herfstmaanden (meestal van mei tot november) in bedrijf is. Als de boot niet werkt, wordt deze vervangen door Journey Behind the Falls-ervaring.

Terwijl we langs Fort George rijden, bekijk je een belangrijke historische militaire site uit de oorlog van 1812. Genesteld langs de schilderachtige Niagara Parkway, is de Floral Clock een van de meest geliefde en gefotografeerde bezienswaardigheden van Niagara Parken. Dit unieke tuinbouwuurwerk heeft een levendige display bestaande uit meer dan 16.000 seizoensbloemen en -planten, die zorgvuldig zijn gerangschikt om een prachtig en steeds veranderend ontwerp te creëren. De wijzerplaat heeft een diameter van 40 voet en is volledig functioneel, met wijzers die daadwerkelijk de tijd aangeven.
Tijdens uw vrije tijd van 1 uur in Niagara-on-the-Lake ervaart u de charme en schoonheid van een van de meest pittoreske stadjes van Ontario. Niagara-on-the-Lake staat bekend om zijn historische betekenis, prachtige 19e-eeuwse architectuur en schilderachtige sfeer. Maak een ontspannen wandeling door de met bomen omzoomde straten, waar u goed bewaarde erfgoedgebouwen, boetiekjes en kunstgalerijen met lokaal talent passeert. De stad is beroemd om zijn Victoriaanse architectuur, en terwijl je loopt, word je terug in de tijd getransporteerd, waardoor het voelt als een stap in de geschiedenis. - Als de gast de Hornblower Niagara Cruise toevoegt en deze niet in bedrijf is, zullen we deze vervangen door de Journey Behind the Falls. Meestal vaart de boot tussen mei en oktober, hoewel omstandigheden buiten onze controle dit kunnen voorkomen.

It was a wonderful experience. Narrated drive through Toronto and outlying suburbs along Lake Ontario. Our tour guide was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable and explained much about the cities and rivers and lakes and surrounding areas. Niagara Falls was outstanding. We did not go on the boat ride since my wife gets motion sickness radio but the walk along the top was still amazing and got lots of good photos and video. The trip back was nice with a few stops, one in Niagara on Lake, a charming beautiful little town we loved. Our driver was outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I would recommend to others. The other good thing is not needing to drive or find parking or deal with traffic as it was very busy and too much traffic.

Route was good in itself, but as it was a busy travel day we ended up on a backup bus. Absolutely no legroom, broken seats, no sockets and poor ac. The return trip was quite painful while the bus crawls for over 2.5 hours in the evening rush hour. At least there was a working bathroom in the coach.

Fantastic full day out, our guide Crystal and driver Hugho were fabulous. Very funny and knowledgeable. The tour is timed to perfection, we loved the stop for Maple Syrup and chocolate tasting. The traffic back into Toronto is horrendous but just gave us some snooze time after great day out.

Make sure you wear waterproof shoes. Expect to get wet when on the boat! Respect the return-to-bus times the tour operators gives you. The bus is very punctual - if they say they are going to leave at a specific time, that is when they leave - not a minute later.
