We beginnen aan een wandeling van 3,5 mijl van de populairste attractie van Rhode Island. Onderweg passeren we vele herenhuizen uit de Gilded Age en bespreken we de oorsprongsverhalen en eigenaardigheden van de families die daar woonden.

The audio tour was great. The history of the mansions and residents was very interesting. The audio tour also allowed us to move at our own pace. The gps was very accurate.

This was a walk along a rocky beach with mansions on our right and the ocean on our left. It was a very informative walk. Wear sturdy shoes. We really enjoyed it.The price was excellent for the two of us to enjoy the tour. I think it took us two hours to walk the tour. We then took a free bus from the end of the tour back to get our car. I am pushing 70 so a walking stick is always helpful. It is a long walk but so enjoyable.

Walking along the Cliff Walk is free. What you paid for is the audio narration that describes the points of interest and the stories behind the mansions and families of the Gilded Age. Apologies if that was not clear. Please text me your actual name (my cell number is on your Viator confirmation email) so I can refund your purchase. However, there is no scam here. It's all laid out in the description.
Did not give you clear directions on how to use the self guide GPS on your phone once you choose the app to use for GPS. Was unable to use. Waste of money. Do not recommend. It is not needed. Wish I could get credit for this experience.
Directions are located within the automated email from Viator that is sent after booking. Those that still have difficulty acessing the tour are welcome to call me directly. My cell number is listed on the same email. I can usually talk people through it. I do understand that some folks will have difficulty with the technology, so you have been refunded. The content of this tour generally gets high marks, including a 4.5 star rating on the Voice Map app with 30 ratings, so I would argue that the value is good for the money.
The tour was excellent. It was not user-friendly to set up having to download an app create an account and use a code.

I do understand that having to download one more app to your phone and create an account is a step that many do not want to take. However, it does provide the best user experience. I used to do this without an app, using a Google Map and an embedded MP3 player in a web browser. It was OK, but this version is definitely better. Users can always delete the app after use, and VoiceMap will not spam you with emails. Thanks again, Gregg
It's a beautiful walk. Please be aware that you can only see two of the Gilded Ages homes from the path. Also, there are sections where you have to walk on large rocks near the sea. I loved that, but make sure you wear appropriate footwear.
Hi. Thanks for taking the Cliff Walk audio tour. I just wanted to provide context that the first third of the 3-mile walk is paved. Only after that will you need to walk over any uneven ground, and the tour does cue you about this at the appropriate time and directs you off the path for those who do not want to continue. The mansions that can be seen directly from the path include 1. Ochre Court 2. Vineland Estate 3. The Breakers 4. Anglesea (although a relatively modern mansion) 5. Beechwood 6. Chinese Tea House at Marble House (unfortunately, Marble House itself is not viewable) 7. Mirimar 8. Rough Point 9. Land's End Not all are as grand as The Breakers, but they all have a story behind them that can be heard here, as well as a few others that cannot be seen, such as Rosecliff and Belmont Estate.

The Cliff Walk was beautiful and just amazing scenery and shoreline. However, I never received my tickets from TripAdvisor and would not recommend you purchase through them. I did not receive confirmation email with access to tickets for audio tour and was never able to access them. On the TripAdvisor site there is a notice that customer service is NOT available and to go through in line support which was worthless. Do not use TripAdvisor if you want to purchase the audio tour.
Hello Dwai - Sorry that you did not get the email with download instructions. I have found that Viator is a pretty stable platform. The instruction email is automated and delivered immediately following purchase. If you did not receive it, it likely went into your spam/junk/promotional emails folder, based on email filtering settings. That being said, technology can be finicky at times and I have refunded your full cost. You should see it on your credit card statement shortly.
