New York Fall Foliage Cruise op de Hudson River

Geniet van een herfstcruise aan boord van Yacht Kingston, een gezellig, elegant jacht in jaren 1920-stijl met een observatiehut en open boeg. Bekijk het grootse gebladerte van de Palisade Cliffs aan de Hudson River (als de natuur het toelaat). Ontspan in de salon van het door het raam van de boot afgesloten observatorium, of geniet van de wind op de open boeg. Pak een warme drank van de bar en staar naar de meest dramatische natuurlijke wonderen van New York en het kleurrijke gebladerte terwijl de seizoenen veranderen. Licht commentaar zal worden gegeven terwijl de boot naar het noorden vaart langs de Hudson River. Zitplaatsen worden toegewezen in de overdekte en verwarmde salon met grote ramen. *Houd er rekening mee dat hoewel de boot verwarmd is, het ook tochtig is en we adviseren om lagen, mutsen en handschoenen mee te nemen.

We hebben herfstkleuren op hun hoogtepunt gezien al midden oktober en als eind december langs de waterkant in de Palisades van New Jersey (de belangrijkste bestemming van onze herfstbladerij-excursies). Restituties vanwege 'gebrek aan kleur' worden niet gehonoreerd. Cruisen op de Hudson River, in het noorden door de Palisades, is een unieke en interessante route en is de verklaarde waarde van deze excursie.

Truly loved every bit of this little adventure. Our Captain Tim was super knowledgeable and very accommodating. We were originally going to go with a larger fairy ride for the Fall feel, but the intimacy and nostalgia of the vintage yacht was well worth the switch! Highly recommend.

My wife and I just disembarked from an awesome Classic Harbor Line cruise aboard the Full Moon yacht to see the fall colors along the Palisades. Sarah proved to be a knowledgeable, skilled, personable Captain, ably assisted by Sean, her First Mate. Blessed with a beautiful, sunny day, Captain Sarah sailed us upstream to a point beyond the George Washington Bridge and beneath the colorful Palisades, while pointing out interesting landmarks. Pauses in her narration allowed for quiet conversation. Sean made sure all the guests were comfortable, distributing blankets to those who were chilly and drinks to the thirsty, all with a smile. The Full Moon is a beautiful boat with comfortable seating inside and out, and good sight lines in all directions. Check in was a breeze. Lots of park bench seating along the pier. A five star experience all around! Do consider it!
This was so much fan. It was so relaxing and the crew is outstanding. They asked if we needed drinks/food, and even asked if we wanted pictures! Very professional, cannot recommend this enough.
Excellent temperate morning for seeing foliage. Uri and Jesse did a great job narrating the trip and keeping us in drinks. My only complaint is that it was all too short, I would have loved to keep going up the river for another 30 minutes to an hour.
