New York Contrasts and Graffiti Tour

De beste manier om de buurten en contrasten van New York te ontdekken is in kleine groepen en in een familiale sfeer. Duur: 6 uur. We bezoeken de Bronx, Williamsburg in Brooklyn, Harlem en Queens. We zijn in de verschillende buurten elf keer uit de auto gestapt om rond te lopen en foto's te maken.

De wereldberoemde Cotton Club is een muziekbar in New York, NY. Gespecialiseerd in jazzshows, livemuziek, swingdans, muzikaal entertainment. De Cotton Club fungeerde als een moderne ontmoetingsplaats, waar regelmatig muzikanten en vocalisten optraden met de bigbands uit de begindagen van The Cotton Club.
In Harlem stapten we uit de auto bij de onvergetelijke COTTON CLUB. We gaan verder door het hart van Harlem, 125th Street, waar we uitstappen bij het APOLLO THEATER, de geboorteplaats van grote sterren als Michael Jackson, Louis Armstrong, Celia Cruz en nog veel meer.
We vervolgen onze weg langs Malcolm X Boulevard, waar we uitstappen bij de beroemde Brown Stone Houses, waar we de dag zullen observeren, de African American Community Day. We stapten uit de auto bij de beroemde basketbalvelden (Harlem Globetrotters).
We stapten uit de auto op de trap waar acteur Joaquín Phoenix de antiheldendans uit de film The JOKER uitvoerde.
In de Bronx stapten we uit bij het Yankee Stadium. We passeerden het politiebureau van Fort Apache, de rechtbanken: Familie, civiel, crimineel.
We passeerden Grand Concourse Avenue en Westchester Avenue. We stapten uit de auto in de Graffiti- of Mural Zone, waaronder de Graffiti van (Big Pun) en (I LoVe The BRONX).
In Queens passeren we de Whitestone Suspension Bridge, de woonwijk Malba, waar we The Queens Mansions zullen zien. (We maken de technische stop voor een snack).
Daarna gaan we naar FLUSHING MEADOW PARK, waar we het US OPEN Stadion, het Mets stadion, het Queens museum en (we stappen uit de auto) de Globe zullen zien, symbool van de tweede Expo die in 1964 in New York werd gehouden.
We stapten uit de auto in de FLIPANTE! Hipsterbuurt (Muurschilderingenbuurt),
We bezochten de grootste concentratie van de chassidische joodse gemeenschap in de VS. In deze buurt (we kunnen uit de auto stappen) loop je door de straten.
De tour eindigt met twee opties: 1. in de wijk Dumbo blijven en de Brooklyn Bridge verkennen, 2. in Chinatown overnachten.

The best guide!!! With all the energy from the beginning, with a lot of knowledge of the places we visited and much more. He answered every question, very friendly and always attentive to each of us. A highly recommended tour. Loved it!!! Thank you very much José!!!
The experience was spectacular. We met different places in New York that we would not have discovered if we had not done the tour. We were 13 people from the same family and there were children of different ages. It is essential to say that our guide, Jose, loved it. He is a person involved, dedicated, funny and with an incredible feeling. He explained in detail each of the small treasures that the city keeps. We have never done such a special tour before. We recommend it 100%.
Of the best tours I've ever done. I have done dozens of guided tours on my trips and this has been one of the best. Guide Jose was wonderful: fun, lively and made our morning a great experience. We were 12 people in the group but the treatment is very personalized. We felt like a family. The tour is long and worth it. Many areas of the city are seen with many explanations both during the stop and on the way. It is a good way to see these neighborhoods without getting tired and without wasting time. I recommend it!
