Stap aan boord van het jacht Manhattan of Manhattan II - beide gezellige, elegante jachten in jaren 20-stijl en geniet van een herfstbrunch terwijl u vaart over de met bomen omzoomde, schilderachtige Hudson River richting de Palisade Cliffs, een van de meest dramatische geologische kenmerken van New York. Geniet van het uitzicht over de Upper West Side van Manhattan terwijl de boot naar het noorden vaart. Bewonder de herfstbladeren in al hun pracht (als de natuur het toelaat) door de verwarmde, belangrijkste observatiehut van de boot met omlopende ramen of vanaf de open boeg. Elk gezelschap krijgt een comfortabele zitplaats toegewezen in de grote salon. Deze cruise omvat een 3-gangen brunch met vaste prijs, geserveerd in een hybride vorm van zowel familiestijl als buffet met gebak, NY-bagels, gerookte zalm, frittata, een eersteklas ontbijt, herfstseizoensalade en diverse desserts en fruit.

We hebben de herfstkleuren op hun hoogtepunt al half oktober en zo eind begin december gezien langs de waterkant in de Palisades van New Jersey (de belangrijkste bestemming van onze herfstbladeren-excursies). Restituties wegens 'gebrek aan kleur' worden niet gehonoreerd. Cruisen op de Hudson River, ten noorden van de Palisades, is een unieke en interessante route en is de aangegeven waarde van deze excursie.

Relaxing, informative, and beautiful cruise up the Hudson River! Friendly and attentive staff. A lovely way to spend a few hours on a fall morning!
I've enjoyed this fall foliage brunch cruise for several years, and it’s always been a lovely seasonal tradition. However, this year I noticed a few changes that made the experience less enjoyable than before. While the staff were doing their best, it felt like the overall quality and attention to detail had slipped. Sadly, the decorations that used to make it feel festive were completely gone. It felt like they didn't even try to create the fall ambiance that used to make this cruise special. The food was another letdown: dishes that were once seasonal and delicious were replaced by mismatched, off-season options that didn’t suit a fall theme. I was really expecting that awesome butternut squash salad that I look forward to, it was replaced by a strawberry salad (felt summery), The main courses were served in small, unimpressive portions, and some of the sides, like the potatoes, were just poorly done. I think instead of the 2nd course should come out for each person individually instead of family style. The desserts are just poor quality. The coffee was not good either, no milk (only half & half, & non-dairy creamer). The first spread was really nice though, with the bagel & lox - the only good part. There was a little of bit a delay in the kitchen which made our food come out a little later which is not a problem & understandable but the "extra 10 minutes added" of being on the water didn't offset the feeling of being rushed to enjoy I appreciate the effort, but for the price, I do hope they can bring back the charm and quality that made this cruise special in the past. It’s still a beautiful experience, but it could use a little more of the care that made it memorable before.

The Fall Foliage Brunch Cruise with Classic Harbor Line was such a great experience—relaxing, scenic, and beautifully organized. The crew was friendly and professional, and the narrated tour was both fun and educational. I really enjoyed learning interesting facts about the landmark buildings, the terrain, and the local history along the Hudson while taking in the changing leaves and crisp autumn air. The brunch itself was delicious and plentiful, with more than enough food to enjoy throughout the cruise. Had a wonderful and informative trip on Seastreak Ferry's Fall Foliage Brunch cruise. Not much fall foliage but the trip up the Hudson with our licensed tour guide, Heidi made the trip spectacular just the same. The west side of Manhattan is really interesting giving way to the Palisade cliffs. Seastreak has upped it's game with a much tastier brunch. Some considerations-sit on the 2nd level. The windows are cleaner as the 1st level windows catch all the spray. It is standing room only while waiting to board. Dress (very) warmly to enjoy the scenery from the top deck. All in all well worth the price.

This is our fourth or fifth time taking a short cruise with the classic horrible line. The nicest people, reasonable price, and an extraordinary experience that is hard to beat outdoors in New York City. A treat and a privilege and great value for money. Celebrated my birthday with my children and grandchildren. Don’t ask how old I am as it’s none of your business :-). Highly recommended.
