New Orleans Sweet Treats Food Tour : Beignets, Donuts en nog veel meer

Onlangs verkozen tot een van TripAdvisor's beste food tours in de VS. De meeste mensen zijn bekend met Bourbon Street en de Franse wijk, maar veel mensen kennen Magazine Street niet, waar onze tour plaatsvindt en een rijke geschiedenis heeft rond eten, kunst, cultuur en nachtleven. We bezoeken 4 verschillende winkels - onderweg proberen we donuts en beignets. Beginnend met traditionele beignets met poedersuiker en een kopje koffie in de hand, leren we over de rijke geschiedenis van de wijken zoals die betrekking heeft op New Orleans. Bij onze tweede stop volgen we dat op met ambachtelijke donuts in een van de beste donutwinkels in New Orleans. Na een korte wandeling hebben we een aantal super interessante beignets met verschillende toppings en sauzen, in tegenstelling tot alles wat je eerder hebt geprobeerd. En tenslotte eindigen we bij onze laatste stop en hebben we onze laatste verrassing op de tour. Het is zeker een heerlijk en casual avontuur waar je zeker van zult genieten. Ik hoop je snel te zien!

Onze tour begint in de wijk Garden District bij PJ's Coffee, een van de leukste coffeeshops in New Orleans. Hier zullen we enkele van hun geweldige beignets proberen, hierboven vermeld. Daarna maken we een ontspannen wandeling langs Magazine Street. We vervolgen onze weg naar District Donuts, een van de beste donutwinkels in New Orleans. Na een korte wandeling bezoeken we onze 3e en 4e halte voor een aantal fantastische beignets. Op elke locatie zullen we verschillende soorten, smaken en stijlen donuts en beignets proeven, dus kom hongerig! Gewoon een FYI - de tour begint en eindigt niet op dezelfde locatie.

Bobbie made this tour so much fun from the first moment to the last. She was particularly great with my kids. Of course we learned all about the different types of donuts and beignets but the most interesting part was the historical facts and stories.
