All of the food we tried tasted amazing, and it was really interesting to learn how it is all made!
We all really enjoyed this tour! All of the food we tried tasted amazing, and it was really interesting to learn how it is all made.
The tour lasted about 4 hours and we got picked up from on of the main viewpoints in Tropea town centre. So it was very easy for us to get to.
We booked it as a group of 4, and was joined by 4 more people. So in total there was 8 on the tour.
Enzo (the tour guide) was very friendly and very knowledgeable about everything that we spoke about on the tour. There was also additional people on tour that would talk about the shops/ farms that they work in and allow us to try some of the food.
The view while driving between each location were also amazing!
The price was also very reasonable considering the amount of people involved, the amount of food we had and how in depth they talked about everything

Excellent Tour
We had a wonderful time visiting the onion farm and the Nduja plant. We learned all about how they harvest the seeds, plant and grow the onions, and why they are so different from other onions. At the Nduja plant we were able to go inside, with protective gear, and see them processing the meat, smoking the sausages, and packaging up everything for retail sales. It was very interesting to learn so much about the two specialties of Calabria. Enzo, our guide, is a gem and is very knowledgeable about the area.

Interesting and informative with knowledgable guide
Such an interesting tour of the Tropean onion fields and tasting of unique products. This was followed by a visit to the Nduja factory! Delicious on bread and so many other ways. Enzo who owns the business, is extremely informative, helpful and kind. We learned so much.

Interesting and worthwhile
Our tour was led by Enzo who made this experience worthwhile before we reached the Tropea Onion fields and the Nduja factory. The Tropean onions are unique and we learned why. Ndjua is delicious. Great to learn how its made and how to use it.

Get to know Calabria through food
This tour was fantastic. Enzo was very friendly and accommodating. The tour provides a deep dive into the both the world of the famous Tropea onion as well as what will become more famous, Nduja. Tastings and product offerings were very much appreciated and done in comfortable and professional settings. I would highly recommend if you are in the beautiful Calabria region

Amazing Tropea experience
This experience was more than we expected. Enzo and his associates made it special for us, from the beginning to the end of onion production, to the wonderful farm tour for 'nduja. I'd love to do it again.
