Deze wandeling is ongeveer 4 uur in totaal, weg van de drukte van de grote stad Osaka. U kunt tijdens het wandelen genieten van de seizoensgebonden natuur. Het is ongeveer 30 minuten van Osaka met de trein op de Hankyu-lijn. Zet Minoo op een groot monumentaal park, "Mino Park", dat een prachtige waterval heeft, "Minoo Waterval" die is geselecteerd als een van de beste watervallen in Japan. Rond de waterval kunt u genieten van verschillende landschappen gedurende de vier seizoenen van het frisse groen in de lente, tot de prachtige herfstbladeren in de herfst. Minoo Park werd op 11 december 1967 aangewezen als een quasi-nationaal park als een van de 100 jaar herdenkingsprojecten in Meiji. Een schatkamer van natuurlijke habitats van ongeveer 1300 soorten planten, 3.500 insecten, veel wilde vogels, zoogdieren, amfibieën, reptielen, vissen, enz. Omringen het park. Het speciale natuurlijke monument, de Japanse salamander, bewoont ook het berggebied van Minoo.

"Ryuanji" is al sinds de oudheid het middelpunt van de watervallen. Hier bestaat een dojo waar vaak bergachtige trainingen werden gehouden. Bergpriesters komen hier vanuit het hele land bijeen in april, juli en november voor een speciaal offerritueel. "Benzaiten", de god van rijkdom, is verankerd in de hoofdzaal van de tempel en is naar verluidt de oudste van de zeven goden van geluk in Japan.
"Minoo Waterfall" is de meest aanbevolen waterval van Osaka in Japan. De grote waterval heeft een breedte van 5 meter en een hoogte van 33 meter. De grote druppel zorgt voor een indrukwekkend uitzicht op de basis waar het water voor je valt met een witte kleur. Het water dat snel van de rotswanden naar beneden stroomt, heeft een indrukwekkende hoeveelheid kracht. De manier waarop het wateroppervlak terugklapt bij het raken van uitstekende rotsen is erg mysterieus. Wanneer u de waterval nadert, kunt u het geluid van het opspattende water en de wind negatieve ionen door uw lichaam laten stromen.
In de winkel kunt u genieten van lunch en theetijd in een rustige sfeer. De authentieke geroosterde luxe bonen worden altijd zorgvuldig overgeheveld, de rijke smaken en licht bittere smaak staan bekend als voortreffelijk.

Naoko, our guide, was exceptional in so many ways. First, she was very accommodating on the starting schedule when the weather turned rainy. She lead a leisurely nature walk to the shrine & waterfall, and pointed out features & wildlife that we would have missed. Being a local, she was also able to educate us on Japanese culture including the wabi sabi spirit, filial piety, haiku, and day-to-day life. We really enjoy her company. This tour is the highlight of our Osaka visit.

We had a wonderful time doing this hike with Yukari. Number one, she was an absolute sweetheart. She was very knowledgeable on the history of Japan, the town, and the waterfall. She also gave us suggestions for the rest of our trip through other cities. The hike to the waterfall was a trek but definitely worth it. We highly recommend this tour if you want to go outside of the big city and immerse yourself in nature!

It was a great tour - beautiful nature, fresh environment, and Ms Naoko Fukunishi was an excellent tour guide. Unfortunately, the leaves haven’t changed their green color. We wish we could come one month later to enjoy the autumn foliage.

I had an amazing time with Naoko as my tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, well prepared and extremely kind and friendly. The nature was beautiful and the sights are breathtaking. I highly recommend stopping by the insect museum - the butterfly dome was simply magical. Don’t hesitate is you are looking for something out of the ordinary in Osaka area.
