Dit is Kleine groepsreis. Als je een fan bent van bloemen, bomen en natuur, is dit een must-have. We nemen je mee naar Aucklands beroemdste parken, tuinen en wetlands. Deze tuin is een verborgen juweeltje niet verkocht door een touroperator. Zelfs de reis zelf is adembenemend mooi. Als u op zoek bent om uit het centrum van de stad en in de natuur, is dit een must. Je zult er geen spijt van krijgen.

Een van de 14 Tūpuna Maunga (voorouderlijke bergen) in de regio Auckland. Met een hoogte van 196 meter is Maungawhau of Mount Eden de hoogste vulkaan in Auckland. Vanaf de top heb je een spectaculair uitzicht over de stad en haar havens.
Cornwall Park is het grootste vulkanische park in Auckland. Sir John Logan Campbell schonk Cornwall Park in 1901 aan Nieuw-Zeeland Veel Aucklanders gaan naar dit park om te picknicken en te barbecueën. Er zijn veel schapen en koeien in het park. Die dieren zijn eigendom van de gemeente. Met meer dan 350 soorten en 8000 bomen is Cornwall park een paradijs voor boomliefhebbers!
Gelegen in het zacht glooiende land van Oost-Auckland. Dit is een van de bekendste tuinen van Nieuw-Zeeland, gekenmerkt door uitgestrekte gazons en informele maar gedetailleerde schilderijen van vijvers en waterwegen. Een sterk maar gevoelig kleurgebruik is een kenmerk van Ayrlies die het best te zien zijn in de felle border waar 'hete' kleuren met groot effect worden gebruikt en in andere gebieden waar oude rozen, clematis en vaste planten worden gecombineerd in romantische overvloed. De tuin beslaat nu zo'n 4 hectare glooiend terrein, met grote gazons, vijvers en watervallen. Nu meer dan 50 jaar nadert de tuin de volwassenheid. Bomen en struiken vormen een wisselend decor voor de tuin. Zichtlijnen naar de Golf van Hauraki en in de tuin worden bewaard met zorgvuldige boomkwekerij. Een groot Ayrlies Wetland-gebied verbindt de tuin met de zee.

Lenna was wonderful. She was our personal guide for the day. We visited beautiful Ayrlies Garden & Wetlands and Cornwall Park with spectacular views. Would highly recommend this tour, especially if you are a gardener and hopefully get Lenna as your guide!

Our guide was excellent - arrived on time, provided guides to the gardens we visited, knew the spots to view the highlights and drove a route that allowed us to enjoy scenes around Auckland. We were the only visitors in the morning to Arylies Garden which was an outstanding garden to visit.

What a wonderful tour! We visited four beautiful parks and had incredible views of the city. The stop at Arylies Gardens and Wetlands alone was worth the price. Sean is an outstanding guide and his knowledge of the local history and culture is first rate!
