Je eerste stop voor deze tour is bij de kalkstenen heuvels van Batu Caves, die uit drie grotten en verschillende kleinere grotten bestaat. Het is het heiligdom van Lord Murugah, een hindoegodheid. Een trap van 272 treden leidt naar de tempelgrot. Een andere grot, de museumgrot genaamd, is gevuld met afbeeldingen van goden en muurschilderingen met scènes uit de hindoegeschriften.
Uw volgende stop is Setapak Hot Spring, waar u uw vermoeide voeten kunt laten weken in het genezende mineraalwater. Volgens de lokale bevolking bestaat deze plek al vier decennia en is het een populaire plek onder de lokale bevolking. Ze geloofden dat dit bronwater hen kan genezen van huidziekten en andere kwalen. Het is dan ook niet verwonderlijk dat je hier vooral in het weekend veel ouderen en jongeren ziet komen om te baden.
Ga dan verder naar Kanching Falls voor een kijkje bij de indrukwekkende waterval met zeven niveaus. Je bepaalt zelf hoe lang je in de schaduw wilt vertoeven, over de rotsblokken wilt klauteren of een verfrissende duik wilt nemen.
Sri Shakti Dhevasthanam Tempel is een adembenemende hindoe tempel gewijd aan de goddelijke vrouwelijke energie, Shakti. Bekend om zijn gedetailleerde vakmanschap, de tempel beschikt over duizenden ingewikkeld gesneden beelden van hindoeïstische goden, allemaal gemaakt met behulp van traditionele technieken en natuurlijke materialen.
De tweede helft van deze tour start in Kuala Selangor, ten noordwesten van Kuala Lumpur. U kunt Fort Altingsburg zien, gebouwd door de tweede sultan van Selangor in de 18e eeuw om de stad te verdedigen tegen een buitenlandse invasie. Aan de voet van het fort bevindt zich een vogelreservaatpark, waar u kunt kijken naar trekvogels. Ook worden hier mysterieuze verzilverde bladapen aangetroffen, een primaat die afstamt van de afstammingslijn van de apen van de oude wereld.

Vervolg uw reis met een boottocht langs de mangrovemoerassen. Hier, vang deze bio lichtgevende vuurvliegjes knipperen en produceren glinsterende lichten in gesynchroniseerd ritme. Vervolg met een heerlijk vers gevangen diner in een lokaal restaurant. Er zijn 3 hoofdsteigers voor vuurvliegjes kijken in Kuala Selangor namelijk Kampung Kuantan, Bukit Belimbing & Pasir Penambang. Voor deze tour kiezen we Pasir Penambang Jetty met behulp van een powerboat die een kleine groep tot 30 passagiers tegelijk kan brengen.

I would never recommend this company to anyone. There was no communication prior to our trip and on the day nobody turned up at the appointed time. The company did try and make amends, but we were given a driver and not a guide. The driver scarcely spoke with us. She was a terrible driver and made us both anxious. She had no consideration regarding our age - we are both in our 70s - and forced us over wet mossy rocks at the waterfall with no assistance.

We thoroughly enjoyed this as a family trip. Rajan was amazing tour guide, imparting so much interesting knowledge of the region, had a friendly/warm demeanour and nothing was too much trouble. He made us feel auper safe and secure whixh meant alot as we only landed the night before the tour. The activities were all great, a highlight for the kids was swimming in the water falls and feeding monkeys.
Had a great day with our guide. He drove us to places we would not be able to find by ourselves in Kuala Lumpur and in the country side. We really likes the monkeys and it was a perfekt finish with the sunset and the fireflies, even if the blue tears experience did not match the pictures. Really recommend this trip if you visit KL with a short amount of time
I booked this having read previous positive reviews and am now compelled to share my experience. The tour was stress-inducing from start to finished. 1. The driver was late to our pickup time. I had received Whatsapp confirmation of pickup and day schedule the night before with the driver's contact info. I called him asking for ETA and he indicated he'd wasn't planning to arrive until TWO HOURS after my confirmed pickup. I questioned that with my confirmation message and he arrived thirty minutes later (30 minutes late). 2. "Van with air conditioning" is an overstatement. Looking around us on the highway, we saw other touring companies' logos on large private buses with proper seating, air conditioning, and a microphone for the guide. That's NOT what we received. We received a packed-to-the-brim van with four air vents in the front (none in the back), no microphone, and a nearly silent guide. We rode in silence until I asked him to explain to us what we were seeing around us and even then, those in the back could not hear. Once we realized we'd need to google our own information en-route and accepted the van for what it was, we focused on the actual attractions, which were lovely and stunning. The Museum, Batu Caves, and the Firellies were all the highlights of the tour (lead by other guides and people...) Hire another company that will send a proper sized vehicle for your group, will get the time right, and provide an actual guide.

Amazing day with Aris. The Batu Caves are stunning. Feeding the silver leaf monkeys was the highlight for my kids, and Aris made sure we found a good spot and had plenty of food to hand out. The pewter and batik stops were also very interesting. And to close the day, the fireflies are a must see. The seafood dinner is also very good and easy, as Aris took care of everything. Definitely recommend this tour, as you hit several can’t-miss stops in one day.
Very grateful to our private tour operator Rajin. A lovely gentleman. The car was comfortable and air conditioned as we were driven around the countryside with stories of Kuala Lumpar. Brilliant trip - a real great way to explore outside KLCC. Our guide Fauzi was great fun and really knowledgable. The entire tour was interesting and well organised, and gave us a great appreciation for Kuala Lumpur, it’s history and culture.
Overall this was a very good tour. Rajan the driver and guide did a great job today with adapting the schedule to do things that were interesting since we had time to spare before the fireflies in the evening. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and funny. One of the better guides I have had in quite a long time. The tour as a whole was well organized and thought out. There were little to no unanticipated variables and the the experience overall was very good. If you have a day to spare in KL I would highly recommend this tour. It’s got a little bit of everything.
Raja is an excellent tour guide, I would like to highly recommend him. He was very flexible and showed me also places that were not in the tour description. Also, he is very knowledgeable, gave me a lot of interesting information about the places we visited. I enjoyed every place I saw on this tour. Well worth doing this excursion.
