Op meer dan 2000 meter boven de zeespiegel in Nationaal Park Teide is het maanverlichte landschap werkelijk buitenaards, een UNESCO-werelderfgoed dat baadt in zilverlicht met weinig lichtvervuiling. Door onze professionele telescopen onthult de maan buitengewone details : kraters, bergketens en uitgestrekte maanzeeën die met het blote oog onmogelijk te zien zijn. Groepen worden klein gehouden, zodat elke gast door de telescoop kan kijken en individuele aandacht krijgt van onze Starlight-gecertificeerde gidsen. De tour begint met een blote-oog-hemeloriëntatie : sterrenbeelden, de poolster, dierenriemzone, planeten en meer. Vervolgens gaan we naar de professionele telescopen voor een onvergetelijke close-up van de maan naast eventuele planeten die zichtbaar zijn en andere heldere objecten zoals clusters. Een tweede telescoop gewijd aan astrofotografie legt real-time beelden vast tijdens de tour — we sturen ze u achteraf als cadeau. Met meer dan 20 jaar ervaring zijn wij een van Tenerife's meest gevestigde astronomische operatoren.

1. Welkom & Luchtoriëntatie (Nationaal Park Teide op 2.200m) Aankomst op ons ontmoetingspunt in het Nationaal Park Teide, een UNESCO Werelderfgoed, badend in het maanlicht. Na een korte wandeling naar het observatiepunt begint uw Starlight-gecertificeerde Gids met de blote-ogenoriëntatie : sterrenbeelden, dierenriem, heldere objecten en de positie van de maan aan de hemel. Geen voorkennis nodig. 2. Maan- en hemelobservatie met live astrofotografie (zelfde locatie) De maan staat centraal door onze professionele telescopen : kraters, bergketens en uitgestrekte maanzeeën in buitengewoon detail. Zichtbare planeten en heldere sterrenhopen worden ook waargenomen. Kleine groepen zorgen voor persoonlijke aandacht. Een tweede telescoop legt live astrofotografie vast, beelden die u na de rondleiding per e-mail krijgt toegestuurd. 3. Einde van de tour (Ontmoetingspunt) De ervaring eindigt met een korte wandeling terug naar het ontmoetingspunt onder de maanverlichte hemel. Perfect moment om de laatste vragen te stellen in een van de meest magische settings op aarde.

Super organized and an unforgettable experience. Tenerife is one of the world's best places to watch the starry sky. In the morning you get a WhatsApp message with all the exact information. You will then be welcomed before sunset with a glass of cava before you go to the Stargazing spot, either by bus or with your own rental car. There, the nice guides tell you a lot of information about the starry sky that you definitely didn't know yet. They speak excellent English and you can ask them anything. Another highlight is the professional photo under the starry sky. 5 stars and definitely worth an experience!
We made the night visit to Teide with Oscar, it was a wonderful experience. Besides showing us the night sky told us a lot of related stories and was asking us little questions to enliven the evening. Thank you for this pleasant visit.

Very nice area and enthusiastic guide. Nice stars and bright moon. Be cautious that after the tour you will need to drive off the mountain through mountain roads which are dark and misty.

We had a great stargazing experience with a beautiful bright sky, high above the clouds. Great visibility. It was even possible to photograph the Milky Way with a standard mobile phone camera. The guide offered a lot of information and explained what was visible in the night sky. Good organized activity.

Excellent! My two children, ages 9 and 11, and I thoroughly enjoyed this! I was at first disappointed the moon was nearly full, but we still got in plenty of star and planet gazing AND got to see the moon and its rough surface up close! Our guide was passionate about his profession and deeply knowledgeable. I highly recommend it. Be sure to pack warmer clothes for this, it is worth it!

Great experience but keep in mind a few things: The guides are in three languages, Spanish, German and English. Bring heavy clothes, because all year round it can be very cold. Last you have to choose whether you prefer to see the moon or the stars because they are in contrast light, then look for book either when there is full moon or when there is not at all.
