Kies vroeg in de ochtend uit je centraal gelegen hotel voor een dagexcursie naar Amboseli National Park. Geniet van je rit in een luxe tourbus die 3,5 uur rijdt door het Maasai-land. Mt kilimanjaro de hoogste berg van Kenia is zichtbaar vanuit het park. Kleine maasai-kinderen staan in de rij langs de weg en verwelkomen u in hun thuisland. Zoek de belangrijkste dieren in het park. Amboseli biedt enkele van de beste mogelijkheden om Afrikaanse dieren in het wild te zien, omdat de vegetatie schaars is vanwege de lange droge maanden. Amboseli National Park is de thuisbasis van vele soorten, waaronder Afrikaanse busholifanten, Kaapse buffels, impala's, Masai-leeuwen, cheeta's, gevlekte hyena's, Masai-giraffen, vlakte-zebra's en blauwe gnoes onder andere Afrikaanse dieren. Er zijn ook tal van Keniaanse vogels, zowel groot als klein. Geniet van je warme lunch in kibo safarikamp of een restaurant zoals de gids suggereert .. Zwembad is beschikbaar als je jezelf wilt afkoelen. De rit terug naar Nairobi begint na je lunch met een drop op je hotel of internationale luchthaven.

Our driver, Peter was a very kind and humble man. He shared his knowledge about Kenyan culture, about the places and the animals we saw. We saw Mount Kilimanjaro in the morning and in late afternoon, and in between enjoyed the presence of animals.

Starting from the positives: Peter, the experienced driver/guide who made the best he could. The lions and the hyenas we saw at Amboseli. The negative: everything else. One day trip is a scam - it was a 17 hour journey, pick up at 5am, drop off at nearly 10pm. 13 hours on the road, in a "car" - a ultra dirty Toyota, uncomfortable seats, non working seat belts, malfunctioning windows, wrecked seat, then, passenger seat (to make company to overworked driver so that he does not fall asleep on the wheel), very hot seat, windows open, inhaling dust and kilos of monoxide, stuck in a traffic jam, watching drivers drive crazily in the dark (yes, day trip means unsafe, road at night) - in a car without a rearview mirror. This was a private tour for 2 people at EUR 500, this was the car assigned the night before to the driver. I did not expect luxury yet at least a top rearview mirror, seat belts and working side-by-side seats. ah, Amboseli... no views of the Kilimanjaro, the reason for enduring the one day trip, the one thing we would not see in Masai Mara. as we learnt later (too late) from a more reliable agency - views are a maybe only very early in the morning, before the clouds. we arrived there at the entrance at 1023am*, no views and a game drive that lasted around 2.5 hours, then, at 105pm, we were already at the Oltukai for lunch. Back on the road for 6.5 hours to Nairobi. *Drivers park outside at the entrance, go somewhere do whatever that takes forever while tourists are harassed by the multiple vendors around the car. Very annoying. Here's the aftermath: one day safari? it is a NO - not realistic, a scam. Private safari? NO, not worth it, no real benefit. Bush Expeditions? NEVER again - the dirty poorly-maintained car and an overworked driver (do the math... he easily worked 19-20 hours) told us that our safety was not their priority. then, Peter, a YES - for being punctual. and and experienced driver. Lessons learnt. 2 stars for (because of) Peter - who deserves better. Zero stars for this experience with Bush Expeditions.
We were happy to choose this Agency fór everything, we wanted to see in Kenya. They arranged all, do IT was very comfortable fór us. Our twodays trip to Amboseli was a great experience. Dawid was very helpful and did his best to show us so many different animals what was possible. And we also enjoyed our treck to Mt. Kenya.
Very good trip with Francis today. It was a very busy day together for private tour but everything was so amazing. I enjoyed the place with wonderfull Kilimandjaro view and plenty animal I had never seen in other parks with bigs families. Lunch was very tasty with big choice of food. All explication from Francis during the tour was very interesting and trust me i had learnt lot of thing in this day with him. Thank again a lot and I’m also very prood of him because he drove very safe during all the long trip about 10h day.

We booked a safari with Kenya bush expedition to Amboseli national park (Day trip) John picked us on time to Amboseli. Avery thing was more than we expected but the like 20 kilometers was not good but John try as he can to make sure we are safe. I record John as a great guy with a allot of experience. Seeing most of the big five animals at Amboseli National Park was amazing, but Peter ensured we had breath taking views of the animals with Mount Kilimanjaro as the backdrop. Our views of Kilimanjaro were less than one hour, but Peter made it felt like half a day. This is an experience we will forever cherish. Thank you very much.
