Stap aan boord van de River Explorer en ga in noordwestelijke richting de Savannah River op onder de Talmadge Memorial Bridge door terwijl we de haven van Savannah naderen. Met meer dan 37 wekelijkse scheepsbezoeken, zult u waarschijnlijk een gigantisch containerschip vlak naast u zien varen terwijl we de rivier opvaren. Tijdens deze Savannah-boottocht leer je over de geschiedenis van de haven van Savannah en wat deze heeft gedaan voor de staat Georgia en heel Amerika. What can I say? This tour is a must for all visiting Savannah and well worth your money. The time on the boat was just enough. The tour guides were great. Knowledgeable and fun. History and information was all through the 1.5 hours aboard the boat. Getting up close to the tankers and seeing a dolphin and turtle added to the day. Thank you. Skyler and Conner for a great time!!
We go to Savannah often and this has been the best tour we have gone on! We’ve done ghost tours and architecture tours. They are also fun but do not compare to being on the river and learning more about the port of Savannah. Captain Jason and first mate Tanner (aka Connor) were informative, funny and engaging on this tour. Being able to view the port and cargo ships up close is such a unique experience. We even saw dolphins! Capt Jason and First Mate Connor/Tanner included so much information about the environment, port and history of Savannah.
Very interesting information, that would be difficult to find out in any other manner. Your guides were very knowledgeable and made the experience fun.
Very informative tour of Savannah River Port. The two women piloting the boat were terrific. They enthusiastically narrated all that we were seeing. Quite impressive to be so close to the big cargo ships and watching the loading and unloading of containers. They explained why the yachts were docked and the process of completing maintenance. This is a tour I would highly recommend.

Absolutely fascinating!!! Savannah angling to be the Largest Port in the nation by raising a bridge? Take a guess by how many feet and find out how close you come on your Port Tour! And there is so Much More to Learn and See!!!
This was a very informative tour of the port. We saw huge container ships in operation of loading and unloading cargo. Our tour operators, Conner and Tanner were very knowledgeable, interesting, and personable. It was one of our favorite experiences in Savannah.

This was a great tour on the water to see the container ships. We got to see the loading and unloading process (from truck to the ships). Great narration to tell us about the process and workers. We got right up under a ship too - cool!
