Begin om 9.00 uur aan een heerlijke "Nandi Hills-dagtrip vanuit Bangalore", terwijl uw gids u ophaalt bij uw hotel. Een mooie rit van 60 km brengt je naar Nandi Hills, waar je eerst de Nandi-tempel bovenop de heuvel verkent, gewijd aan de berg van Lord Shiva, Nandi. Wees getuige van de ontzagwekkende Tipu's Drop, een steile klif met historische betekenis, gevolgd door een bezoek aan het Zomerpaleis van Tipu Sultan, waar Indo-islamitische architectuur en historische artefacten te zien zijn. 09:00 - Je gids haalt je op bij je hotel in Bangalore en je gaat richting Nandi Hills, ongeveer 60 km verderop.
10:00 AM - Je bereikt Nandi Hills en begint je verkenning van dit prachtige heuvelstation. U kunt beginnen met een bezoek aan de Nandi-tempel, die zich op de top van de heuvel bevindt en is gewijd aan Lord Shiva's rijdier, Nandi. Geniet vanaf dit uitkijkpunt van het panoramische uitzicht op de omliggende heuvels en valleien.
11:00 uur - Bezoek vervolgens Tipu's Drop, een steile klif waarvan wordt gezegd dat Tipu Sultan zijn gevangenen de dood in zou hebben gegooid. Het uitzicht vanaf de klif is adembenemend en zal je vol ontzag achterlaten. 12:00 uur - Vervolg uw reis door een bezoek te brengen aan het zomerpaleis van Tipu Sultan, een prachtig voorbeeld van Indo-islamitische architectuur. Het paleis werd ooit door Tipu Sultan gebruikt als zomerverblijf en herbergt nu een museum met kunstvoorwerpen uit die tijd.
13:00 uur - Neem een lunchpauze in een lokaal restaurant en geniet van de lokale keuken.
14:00 - Na de lunch kun je de Bhoga Nandeeshwara-tempel bezoeken, een prachtig bewaard gebleven oude tempel uit de 9e eeuw. De tempel is opgedragen aan Lord Shiva en staat bekend om zijn ingewikkelde houtsnijwerk en architectuur.
15.30 uur - Bezoek ten slotte het Amrita Sarovar-meer, dat zich aan de voet van de heuvel bevindt en wordt omgeven door weelderig groen. Geniet van een rustige wandeling rond het meer en geniet van de serene schoonheid van de omgeving.
Bij interesse rijdt u naar het Isha Yoga Center, opgericht door Sadhguru. Bewonder het 112-voet Adiyogi Shiva-beeld, 's werelds grootste buste, en verken serene meditatieruimtes. Wandel door de prachtig aangelegde tuinen en geniet van de rustige sfeer. Een rustige, spirituele stop voor reizigers die geïnteresseerd zijn in yoga, wellness en innerlijke reflectie.
16.30 uur - Je tour eindigt en je gids brengt je terug naar je hotel in Bangalore.

Good experience with friends But taking too much money for parking
Amazing day out! Our guide Deepak was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything. Our driver Hari expertly navigated throughout changing weather conditions & traffic. All of the sites and temples were beautiful with so much history. India is such a beautiful country and there is so much to see and experience. I would highly recommend this day out from Bengaluru.

We had a great experience on this Nandi Hills tour. Our guide, Mr. Deepak, was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable throughout the trip. He took us around Nandi Hills and the temples in the surrounding area at a comfortable pace and gave clear explanations at each stop, sharing the history and significance of the different attractions. The tour was well-organized, and there was enough time to enjoy the views, take photos, and explore. The pickup was delayed and was not initiated on time. Had to wait for pickup for 30 mins. Very unprofessional.

The entire route was wrapped in dense fog, rain pouring down, and wild winds cutting through the cold air. It was freezing, chaotic, and absolutely magical. Located 70 to 80 km from the city, Nandi Hills offers a serene escape with its cool weather, refreshing atmosphere, and stunning scenic beauty of clouds. Perfect for early morning visits.

We enjoyed our visit to Nandi Hills and our guide and driver were great. However, under the "what to expect" section of the tour, the description promises two hours at the Tipu Sultan Fort and Palace, which was not at all in the tour. We visited a temple, saw a residence of Nehru Ghandi, and walked around the top of the hills which was a fortress in the 1700s, but the picture and description of Tipu Sultan Fort and Palace is not from Nandi Hills, but from the fort and palace which I now know to be in Bangalore itself. We chose this much more expensive tour than other Nandi Hills tours because of the promise of this palace, so it was disappointing. If you expect to see "five arches with minarets, showing off the beautiful art and architecture of the ancient era", as in the description, find another tour.
