Vanuit Patna bezoek je de tweelingplaatsen nalanda en rajgir. Nalanda zou de oudste internationale universiteit van de wereld zijn. De mysterieuze heuvels van ratnagiri huizen boeddhistische grotten van rajgir waar heer boeddha veel preken hield. Bezoek tenslotte de plaats waar heer Boeddha zijn verlichting "Bodhgaya" kreeg. Aan het einde zetten we ons af bij de luchthaven / hotel "Bodhgaya" OF het treinstation van Gaya

The tour itself was well thought out and very well organized. I asked many many questions prior to booking and the tour operators were courteous and tried to accommodate our requests as best they could. The driver was easygoing and drove very well and the car was clean and well kept. The hotel was an upgrade, which was a nice surprise! Bihar is beautiful and Nalanda and Bodh Gaya were magical and offered a really spiritual experience. We hired a guide throughout. We were two women traveling and we highly recommend having a guide for Rajgir only for safety reasons. We went on Christmas day and the crowds were understandably intense. Paying for a guide made it easier to move around and also learn the history of the space. Our guide in Bodh Gaya was Rakesh, he was knowledgeable, funny, and very mindful of our needs.

Excellent place in gya .A complete Buddhist Treasure, visited most famous sites of Buddhism and also understood a lot of it. All services were excellent and a team of expert professionals from Discover Activities made it possible for me to enjoy this rustic and heritage sector.

The tour was wonderful. My guide and driver were prompt in picking me up both days and good about fitting everything in even though my time was limited. Mahabodhi temple in particular was a wonderful sight.
