Omringd door glooiende plantages en frisse buitenlucht, verken je de reis van thee van blad tot kopje, begeleid door een deskundige lokale gastheer. Wandel door levendige theevelden, leer hoe de fijnste bladeren met de hand worden geplukt en krijg inzicht in de verwerkingsmethoden die Keniaanse thee tot de beste ter wereld maken. U krijgt ook de kans om vers gezette thee te proeven terwijl u geniet van een adembenemend uitzicht op het platteland. Deze ervaring biedt meer dan alleen sightseeing, het is een ontspannen ontsnapping aan de stad en een kans om verbinding te maken met de lokale cultuur in een rustige, authentieke omgeving. De lunch wordt geserveerd door de chef-kok na de tour. Later begint u aan de terugreis naar uw hotel of verblijfplaats in Nairobi.

5-star chauffeur service. Brought to the site and then taken back to the hotel. Friendly, with conversation. On site, we were received royally. The area is nothing but nature and fresh air. One can spot monkeys and other animals there. We indulged in numerous teas, visited the entire operation with very detailed explanations from the farm manager. Meal prepared by the house chef. Local, delicious. Every person we met was fantastic! We highly recommend it ❤️

Eric was our guide and excellent. Kinyenje, the owners grandson, gave us the tour and tea tasting. Followed by a delicious lunch and good conversation with Eric and Kinyenje. It was a privilege to be hosted on a working farm, learning the tea process and more about modern Kenya. Highly recommend this tour

We loved our experience visiting the tea farm! From start to finish it was such a wonderful time! Eric our guide was fantastic as well as the driver! We had an amazing time learning all about the full experience of how tea is made from start to finish. How amazing it is, as tea lovers we were so amazed by how long it truly takes to make tea. Visiting a tea plantation in Kenya is a must but don’t go visiting just any! Riara tea farm is one of the first tea plantations owned by Kenyans. His family history is completely intertwined with the history of Kenya. If you like to consume and travel differently, this tour will delight you. Eric drove us there and allowed us to meet this amazing family , warm and authentic. The whole process is explained in detail up to the tasting of the different teas. Of course the landscapes are also sublime. The icing on the cake: you can have lunch on site and enjoy tasty and organic local cuisine.
