Omdat het een stad is met prachtige natuurparken zoals Uhurupark in de stad, is het een zeer groene stad en heeft het ook de geschiedenis van de natie die is samengevoegd met de moderniteit. Dit brengt het aspect van culturele diversiteit die van binnenuit wordt beïnvloed en zonder welke we zullen aanpakken in deze stadswandeling als we meer leren over Nairobi stad. We booked with John for 2:30pm with a hotel pick up which never happened so I gave a pooir review. However, we rebooted for 4pm the same day and he was amazing! Best to get to the meeting spot on your own. The price is very inexpensive and it does not make sense for them unless it is a large group. John is very knowledgeable, patient and friendly…
This was our first tour, on our first day, on our first trip to Africa/Nairobi. We are glad we did it! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and proud of his city. He shared cultural insights and important historical facts to help put buildings into context. We were also able to get a sense of the rhythm of the city.
This operator was suppose to pick us up at the hotel. Called and told us to take an uber and have a non-specific address. So we could not even find the location . Then his phone died and we were not able to contact him
John was great and had loads of information on the area and especially the culture. Strongly suggest it to those who want to learn more about Nairobi.
A great way to fill in a couple of hours in Nairobi. John is a friendly and informative guide and good at negotiating the crazy traffic and crowded footpaths of central Nairobi.
This was such an authentic experience. John was our tour guy who walked with us for about 3 hours and took us through the history of Kenya, political movements, culture of Kenyans, and the current climate and culture of Kenya. He did such a wonderful job at presenting the past, present and hopeful future of Kenya. I learned so much and the walk while a bit hectic allowed us to submerge ourselves in local culture and see historical sites, local market with handmade jewelry. John was so knowledgeable and passionate about Nairobi. It was such a great afternoon stroll and by the end of it it felt like I had spent the last 3 hours with friends. Such a lovely experience. If you are one that like culture, history, and sightseeing this is a very local rare experience
