Je begint je dag met een ophaalactie vanuit je hotel of residentie in Nairobi CBD om 08.30 uur door een professionele gids / chauffeur en start de rit naar het Nairobi National Museum. Het Nairobi National Museum werd opgericht in 1920 en werd gevestigd op zijn huidige locatie in 1929. Hier leer je over de geschiedenis van het land, zijn mensen, cultuur en kunst. Het museum wil het rijke erfgoed van Kenia interpreteren en biedt een one-stop voor bezoekers om het rijke erfgoed van het land te proeven, zowel voor onderwijs als voor vrije tijd. Het is open op alle 356 dagen gedurende het hele jaar van 08.30 tot 17.30 uur. Je hebt ook een kans om het SNAKE PARK te bezoeken om de verschillende soorten slangen te zien.
Vertrek om 11:00 uur het museum en start de rit naar het centrum van de stad waar de auto zal worden geparkeerd en de tour begint met de wandeling naar het August Memorial Park. Het 7 augustus Memorial Park bevindt zich in de bomscène van 1998 langs Haile Selassie Avenue. Het is opgedragen aan hen die hun leven hebben verloren en bevat een mededelingenbord met hun namen. Dit duurt 1 uur.
Later rijd je naar het Kenyatta International Conference Centre, een internationaal gerenommeerde locatie voor conferenties, vergaderingen, tentoonstellingen en speciale evenementen en een van de hoogste gebouwen in Nairobi. Je gaat naar het dak en geniet van een prachtig en exclusief uitzicht op de stad. Dit duurt een uur. Optioneel kunt u naar een restaurant worden gebracht waar u kunt genieten van heerlijke Afrikaanse gerechten. Later wordt je teruggebracht naar je hotel of verblijf in Nairobi CBD

Today’s Nairobi sightseeing and Maasai Market tour was fantastic from start to finish. Our driver and guide, Steven, was absolutely incredible — knowledgeable, very patient, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. He made navigating the city and the market easy, engaging, and stress-free, while sharing great insights and stories along the way. The Maasai Market was a highlight, and Steven made sure we had time to enjoy it without feeling rushed. Highly recommended — this was a great way to experience Nairobi!

Isaac was the perfect guide. So calm in the inevitable traffic jams, so informative when asked questions. There were just the two of us. We were taken round the National Museum by a very knowledgeable woman. Then the view from the Conference Centre was amazing. We finished at the bombing memorial which we very moving. This is a hugely recommended trip, led by an excellent leader.

As a solo female traveller I took the opportunity to explore Nairobi City with a private guide. Service was prompt and Stephen was profession and enthusiastic and despite the traffic holding us up allowed plenty of time at each venue. I was escorted with a private tour guide at the National Museum, Reptile Park, August 7th Memorial Garden and Beads Factory. Entertaining and informative and a fun way to get an overview of the city! Highly recommended.

This was a great tour through Nairobi. Steven Safari made the trip pleasant, took me to some interesting places where I learned a lot, and enjoyed myself with him. Be ready to go to some historic sites and also some tourist stops were you will almost certainly feel obligated to buy some things to take home.

As a female solo traveller, I felt very comfortable and safe with the very hospitable Steven who expertly navigated Nairobi’s busy roads to provide me with an unforgettable day tour of the city! The museum was an amazing introduction to traditional Kenyan culture and history. I really enjoyed the 360 degrees views of Nairobi from the top of the Convention Centre where Steven explained the city’s layout and development. We then travelled through the slums to the outskirts of Nairobi to visit an enterprise established to empower and support Masai women who make beads from clay from Mt Nairobi. From here, I enjoyed a traditional Kenyan lunch (lots of vege and a type of beef stew with mashed potatoes- yummy!). This was followed by a tour of another enterprise that helps support Masai (woodworking). Steven expertly navigated the congested roads to safely deliver me back to my hotel. Highly recommend this tour and Steven as a guide.
