Nagarkot Sunrise and Hike

We did the Nagarot sunrise tour. Many thanks to Birodh, who was a great tour guide. Very easy going and knowledgeable about the local flora and culture. Would recommend if you’re looking for a chill day trip out of Kathmandu

After my trip in upper Himalayas in the Everest region, we wanted to do a smaller, more relaxed trip around kathmandu. We stumbled upon Outfitter Nepal, with one of their guides, Birodh. It was such a great way to explore the outskirts of Kathmandu especially because of the knowledge Birodh shared to us about the landscape and Nepalese culture. I highly recommend this trip!

I want to thank company Outfitter Nepal for my "Nagarkot Sunrise and Hike" day tour. Starting from organizational moments from Russia and to the end - all was very organized, they replied promptly and very constructive. When I was choosing my tour it turned out that many companies do not organize tours for one person, but what I should do if I travel alone?) Outfiter Nepal without any hesitates agreed to organize Tour only for me. And though I wasn't lucky to see sunrise due to the weather conditions, I've anyway obtained the day full of positive emotions and nice views further during the hiking. Big thanks to my guide - Birodh - very positive person and interesting interlocutor. He made a great contribution to the overall impression of my day. My husband and I recently enjoyed a sunrise viewing of the Himalayas from Nagarkot, a village in the hills surrounding the Kathmandu Valley. After setting off pre-dawn from Kathmandu with our guide Birodh Burlakoti from Outfitter Nepal, we arrived at Nagarkot after a drive of an hour or so. After a warming cup of Nepali coffee we ascended to the viewing area and were rewarded with spectacular views of the Himalayas. Mount Everest was clearly visible. After breakfast at a nearby hotel we hiked for several hours through villages, observing the local people going about their daily activities. Our hike concluded at the ancient Changunarayan temple. Thanks to Birodh for sharing your knowledge of local culture and flora and for your great company.
