Nachtwandeling La Fortuna - Nachtwandeling in Arenal

Beschrijving

This was an excellent value my guide David was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. Getting to the preserve from los fortuna was easy. The light meal provided was a great hold over for the hike. The trails are pretty smooth and easy to walk. You should see some great wild life. I saw several sloths both two and three toed. Being a night tour you should see some wildlife you often miss. I highly recommend them. Also it get dark at 6pm so you are not out crazy late
This tour was fantastic! We saw so many frogs. Mar was a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. The tortilla making was also a wonderful bonus experience. I would highly recommend this
We thoroughly enjoyed this walk through a private area, it was fully forested but had flat managed paths that were easy to negotiate in the dark. The tortilla making and snack was awesome, then our guide Zmar took us on our walk once it became dark. Within 15 feet of the tortilla makung area were a family of bats sleeping under a banana leaf and a hummingbird nest with babies!! We saw frogs ( including 2 venomous species), toads, a tarantula, cayman, kingfisher and other birds roosting for the night and iguanas. There are sloths on the property but we didn't see them that night. 100% worth the cost even without sloths, Zmar was friendly, funny and knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed looking around with our flashlights and trying to spot wildlife. Family friendly, easy and a lot of fun!
We did the night walk with Mar and it was amazing! We are some taste tortillas we made first to wait until it got dark. We saw bats, loads of different frogs, caymans, different birds, and a sloth with her baby! It was incredible. Mar was super knowledgeable, showed us a lot, and made us laugh along the way. Highly recommend!
One of the best tours that we had in Costa Rica. The tour guide Mar took extra effort to show the various types of frogs- including the special red eyed frog. We even saw a sloth and a hummingbird in its nest. Fabulous experience
It was raining some of the time, but that didn’t make the tour bad. It was actually cool being fully in nature. The guide was knowledgeable and made sure we were safe. My friend spotted a poisonous snake in a tree at the bottom and the guide made sure we were at a distance before allowing us to photo it. We spotted a sloth, snake, forgs, lizard, bat, and bird.
David was an incredible guide, full of all the right knowledge with an obvious passion for his job. We saw loads of wildlife including sloths, frogs,, lizards, bats, birds, spiders, caiman and an armadillo! Great addition to our trip, well worth it.
best experience!we are in a small group, guide was responsive and knowledgeable. We explored a lot. Frogs are amazing.
Highly recommend this tour, Sergio was a brilliant guide and so knowledgeable. We saw ( I think it was a pit viper ), tarantula a sloth and a variety of frogs ! He could identify the frogs from the noises they make. We also made our own tortillas before it got dark.
We loved our night walk here! Our guide was attentive and so good at spotting wildlife! We couldn't believe there were so many critters all around us! It was a great experience and we would highly recommend it!
