Nachtkajaktocht St. John - Westin Resort

So very fun! Bring bug spray since it is at dusk and the mosquitos are gnarly at the beginning as everyone is getting set up with paint, kayaks, pictures etc. It is an easy paddle and good for beginners. So amazing seeing all of the Tarpin and minnows. Just a great easy going night on the quiet water.

Doug was an exceptional guide, loaded with knowledge of sea life, the ocean and sky constellation. We saw lots of Tarpon, Balihoo and a sea turtle. Doug was very inviting and knows how to show his guests a good time. We are very happy we chose this adventure and highly recommend

This was OUR BEST experience on the island! Was nothing like we expected. Saw HUGE groupers, Tarpon, Sea Turtles, Bats, and so many other fish! Saw way more than we did snorkeling! Insane! Fish were HUGE! Our Guide was the most knowledgeable guide we could have asked for, Christiano, you made this trip memorable!

Had a great time with Doug and Christian. Enjoyed seeing various fish. They were informative, had some dad jokes, interacted with group and made us very comfortable as we were first time kayakers.

Doug was incredible from start to finish. He took the time to explain everything, made sure everyone felt comfortable, and truly went above and beyond. He deserves a raise! The entire time we were kayaking, Doug was right there on the paddle board keeping an eye on everyone and making sure we were having a great experience. I did assume we would travel a little farther out of the harbor, but overall that did not take away from how enjoyable the adventure was. It was peaceful, beautiful, and such a fun way to experience St. John at night. You never know what you will see in the ocean, so go for the experience! I wish it had been longer than an hour. I will 100% be doing this again the next time I’m on island. Highly recommend adding this to your St. John itinerary!

Load with all the paint you can because the photos turn out great. We saw lots of Tarpin fish. They swim right under your board.
