Deze 8 uur durende tour omvat de basis 17-mijl lus van Monument Valley en bezoekt enkele beperkte achterlandstops. Je zult veel van de beroemde monumenten op deze tour bekijken; in het bijzonder zult u stoppen bij het uitkijkpunt The East and West Mittens, het uitkijkpunt Point & Three Sisters van John Ford, het uitkijkpunt Totem Pole, Artist's Point en het uitkijkpunt North Window. In het achterland stop je bij The Sun's Eye & Ear of the Wind. Naast alle bovengenoemde gebieden bezoekt het ook de schilderachtige Mystery Valley. Mystery Valley is een gebied vol met Anasazi-ruïnes en rotskunst, anders niet te zien vanaf de hoofdweg. Je zult Mystery Valley in de ochtend verkennen, gevolgd door een gebarbecued lunch, gekookt door je gids. Je gaat dan verder naar Hidden Valley, met dezelfde 3,5 uur durende tour, waarbij je de Hogan en alle bekende formaties bezoekt.

Seeing the canyons up and close was great! We had a wonderful grilled cheeseburgers in the shade for lunch! The guide was in a truck so you couldn’t ask questions along the way which was pretty bad. Otherwise the tour was good. I wouldn’t do the 8 hour tour I would do the five hour.
Sandrea Holliday provides an excellent all day tour that included very remote areas and cultural visits. She provided a personal and historical perspective and we were able to visit a Hogan and observe wool making and spinning. It was a gorgeous day!

Great experience! Plan to spend all day, ut you stop and get out to explore often. This isn't a boring ride along, although I guess you could sit in the truck all day, but the tour allows you to get out, look around and even walk about and explore on your own a bit. Friendly guide and a small tour group.

A very cool experience with a knowledgeable guide. They take you to places unreachable otherwise. A big wood grilled burger cooked in the middle of scenic Mystery Valley. Our guide even helped overcome our fear of heights by climbing up to skull cave. If you have all day I'd highly recommend this tour. This experience was top notch!

Our guide Billy is not usually the guide for this tour but he was good. His presentations were informative and his driving on very rough tracks was very good. He did a good job barbecuing our hamburger lunch. (Meatless option available.) Mystery Valley in the morning is historic with petroglyphs. Monument Valley in the afternoon has the beautiful mesas and buttes made famous by Hollywood.
Jayden, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the Monument Valley area. He knew all the landmarks, the best angles to see them from and relayed quite a bit of history. We visited several areas that cannot be seen without a guide. Definitely a must do tour in Monument Valley.
