Verken het meest fantastische eiland van de Egeïsche Zee met de blauwe lucht, de prachtige suikerhuizen en de prachtige stranden. We beginnen deze tour door oriëntatie en informatie te krijgen in het labyrint van de oude stad, evenals indrukken van de kleine haven en de kerken in de stad. Natuurlijk zullen we de beroemde windmolens zien. Hierna verkennen we het eiland met een bus en bezoeken enkele van de beroemdste stranden en het binnenlandschap. We zien vissers en kaiki's, kleine privékapellen en huizen gebouwd in de typische cycladische stijl. In het tweede belangrijkste dorp van Mykonos, Ano Mera, een idyllische plaats op 6 km van de stad, heb je genoeg vrije tijd voor een wandeling rond het traditionele plein en voor een bezoek aan het monniksklooster van Panagia Tourliani, gebouwd in de 16e eeuw. De volgende stop is het Kalafatis-strand, waar u even kunt ontspannen en koffie of een verfrissing kunt nemen om een plek te vinden met een fantastisch uitzicht over de stad en de naburige eilanden, voordat u terugkeert naar de stad.

We beginnen de Mykonos Island tour meeting in Mykonos stad en hebben een kleine briefing door onze gids.
Vervolgens verkennen we het eiland met een bus, bezoeken we enkele van de beroemdste stranden en het binnenlandschap. We zien vissers en kaiki’s, kleine privékapelletjes en huizen gebouwd in typisch cycladische stijl. Ontdek dit prachtige eiland tijdens een comfortabele busrit met stops bij de mooiste uitzichtpunten en stranden, evenals het traditionele dorp Ano Mera, een idyllische plek op 6 km van de stad. U heeft vrije tijd om over het pittoreske dorpsplein te wandelen en het 16e-eeuwse klooster Panagia Tourliani te bezoeken met zijn artistieke marmeren klokkentoren en indrukwekkende iconenmuur. Tijdens deze tour krijgt u veel informatie over de tradities, geschiedenis, architectuur en het moderne leven van het eiland.
Volgende stop is Kalafatis strand waar er tijd is om een beetje te ontspannen en een kopje koffie of een verfrissing (niet inbegrepen in de prijs) en een plek met een fantastisch uitzicht over de stad en de naburige eilanden te bereiken, voordat je terug naar de stad gaat.
De bustour wordt gevolgd door een stadswandeling met gids door Mykonos-stad en naar de beroemdste plekken zoals Klein Venetië, de windmolens, de Paraportiani-kerk, evenals de prachtige witgekalkte straatjes en kleine steegjes en de haven van Mykonos. De tour eindigt bij de bushalte van de oude haven.

Tour was great and tour guide very informative. Really glad she was there to guide us through the maze (yes, quite literally an actual maze) of streets making up Mykonos Town. I would have definitely gotten lost in there. She also took us to a beach that we loved so much (not nearly as crowded as the others) we went back there on our own after the tour was over. Only issue was that we took the bus from our hotel to the meeting point and were told to meet at Life Cafe. Walked around a bit looking for this cafe only to discover that it is now called Duck Cafe. Not that big of a deal as one of the friendly locals pointed us in the right direction rather quickly, but would be helpful if the directions were updated.
A lots of walking. However, Mykonos is a lovely Island. Surroundings are awesome. Constructions and the form ancient people use their strategist is an example of how they protected their land even with short resources.
Great tour to see all of the sights around Mykonos. Our tour guide Barbra and driver George were very friendly and knowledgeable about the island. We visited some beautiful areas of Mykonos town as well as the monastery and lighthouse. We all really enjoyed our tour
A great way to experience Mykonos. Zena was extremely knowledgeable about the city. I recommend taking the transfers offered for pick up and drop off when booking your tour. It might seem like a lot at the time but nothing compared to what it costs to move around Mykonos on your own.
The Mykonos island tour gives you a good sense of the island. Mykonos has a very lively town center with quaint side streets. The guide was very good and provided good insight to the island and its history. We enjoyed the tour very much.

Very knowledgeable guide! We were able to see the highlights of Mykonos and learn about it’s history. We were on the morning tour which was perfect to avoid the crowds. Also, they arranged our transfers and this all went smoothly.
Monica was the guide for my tour. She was great, very thorough & knowledgeable. I enjoyed the tour. One suggestion would be to meet cruise ship patrons at the port. Luckily, the area we met at was well known to most of the locals I asked directions from or I never would have found the meeting area in a timely manner because the city is literally a maze.
Overall the tour was good. The bus arrived a bit late so I was getting a bit anxious. But the wait was worth it. We learned quite a few about the traditions and the island and saw the most visited places.
