Ontdek Mumbai’s ongelooflijke eetcultuur tijdens deze begeleide avond streetfood tour. Begin met een treinrit naar Chowpatty Beach, waar je iconische snacks zoals Bhel Puri en Pav Bhaji proeft terwijl je geniet van de zonsondergang. Ga verder naar bruisende markten en smalle straatjes, proef Pani Puri, Pav bhaji, kiprolletjes en handgekarnd ijs terwijl je Gids de verhalen achter elk gerecht deelt. Onderweg verken je culturele bezienswaardigheden zoals een Jain-tempel en Minara Masjid, waardoor deze tour de perfecte mix is van eten, traditie en het lokale leven. Neem een lokale trein om Mumbai woon-werkverkeer te ervaren. Probeer de beroemde Pani Puri uitdaging. Wandel door Bhuleshwar Market, gevuld met kleurrijke kraampjes en Shop. Bezoek het strand van Chowpatty en geniet van de zonsondergang met de lokale bevolking. Zij brengen hun avonden door met hun families op het strand, genietend van de koele bries en de iconische straatsnack van Mumbai in een picknickopstelling.
Stap nu in een gedeelde taxi en bereid je voor op de drukke, smalle straatjes van de Bhuleshwar-markt. Ontdek de diverse cultuur van de wijk en breng een bezoek aan een Jain-tempel.
Wandel daarna richting de Minara-moskee. De chaos daar is oorverdovend. U ruikt dan al de geur van niet-vegetarisch eten, zoals Baida roti, Kaati-rollen, Kebaba's en nog veel meer. Stop bij een van de kraampjes om ze te proeven.
Maak vervolgens een korte wandeling naar Bori Mohallla, een van de prominente moslimhandelaren en bezoek Mrs. ijssalon Walla om hun 120 jaar oude recept te proeven dat nooit is veranderd. Hier maken ze vers fruitijs volgens de traditionele methode, waarbij ze ijs met de hand maken.

Roshan was an excellent guide in this big city and he showed us interesting places, great street food and excellent company. We traveled by train, by taxi, on foot, saw temples 🕍, mosques and above all experienced the best of Mumbai street food. We went to loads of great spots and tried lots of Mumbai classics knowing that we wouldn't get sick! I think there could have been a couple more stops for the price as, for me, I do food tours to experience as much variety as possible.
