Neem even de tijd vanuit San Francisco voor een halve dagtrip naar Muir Woods National Park en Sausalito. Deze boeiende halve dagtrip neemt je mee over de Golden Gate Bridge naar het populairste National Park Monument van de Bay Area om het prachtige uitzicht op de Giant Redwoods te ervaren tijdens een 90' stop. Bezoek de prachtige kustplaats Sausalito, een prachtig dorp in mediterrane stijl met leuke winkeltjes en restaurants aan het water. Als je voor de optie kiest, neem dan de veerboot terug naar San Francisco!

De tour vertrekt om 07:40 AM, 10:40 AM of 13:40 PM (afhankelijk van de geselecteerde optie) vanaf Union Square of Fisherman's Wharf (afhankelijk van uw vertrektijd). Voor de fietstour start je bij Bay City Bike Store op 2661 Taylor St, San Francisco, CA 94133, waar je je fiets ontvangt en je reis naar de brug begint. Vanuit het hart van Union Square rijdt de bus naar de Golden Gate Bridge. Op weg naar de Golden Gate Bridge zien reizigers: Union Square: Theaters, winkels, hotels.
Beroemd om zijn gebruik als branddoorslag door het Amerikaanse leger tijdens de aardbeving en brand van 1906.
Een schilderachtige wijk aan het water die bekend staat om zijn uitzicht op de Golden Gate Bridge, luxe woningen en levendige sfeer.
Nadat u de iconische Golden Gate Bridge bent overgestoken, heeft u de mogelijkheid om te stoppen voor foto's bij de Golden Gate North Vista Point. Dit uitzichtpunt biedt een adembenemend uitzicht op de brug, Alcatraz Island en de prachtige skyline van San Francisco.
Na vertrek brengt de bus u rechtstreeks naar Muir Woods National Monument, waar u 90 minuten de tijd heeft om het oude sequoiabos te verkennen. U zult genieten van een rustige wandeling door de torenhoge sequoia's, genietend van de serene schoonheid van het park. De Bike Tour doet niet eerst Muir Woods aan. In plaats daarvan wordt Sausalito eerst bezocht, gevolgd door een busrit naar Muir Woods. Stap in een magisch bos van torenhoge sequoia's (Sequoia Sempervirens) die al eeuwen staan. Na het verkennen van Muir Woods brengt de bus u naar Sausalito, een schilderachtig stadje aan het water. Als u kiest voor de Bike Tour, na het rijden over de Golden Gate Bridge, komt u aan in Sausalito. Na uw bezoek aan Sausalito laat u uw fietsen daar achter en stapt u in een comfortabele bus die u naar het adembenemende Muir Woods National Park brengt. De bus haalt u om 14.30 uur op vanaf Humboldt Ave 599 (de hoek van Humboldt en Bay St).

way too winding road. no rest from the tour narrator. even on the way back he did not stop talking at all.
Muir Woods is very beautiful. Sausalito not so much. Daniel, the driver was great.
The tour guide wasn’t very friendly. He kept saying that he was going to leave us if we didn’t return to the bus at the exact time that he told us to return The time spent in Muir Woods was definitely not enough

It is a unique place, lots of living nature, access is easy, you can go with a cane or wheelchair. We were able to see a reindeer eating, it is very beautiful, do not miss the opportunity to go. Inside Muir there is also a gift shop and a cafeteria; the coffee was very tasty. We returned by ferry from Sausalito, we loved it. I cannot help but notice how kind Christine, our guide, was; I would do it again.

We have always wanted to see the Muir Woods and Judith our guide was a wonderful host. Judith was funny, informative and an excellent driver!! The coach was clean and comfortable. Judith was also very knowledgeable. We took the ferry back which was probably quicker than the drive but we missed Judith and her fun history. Sausalito was so packed and the lines for the ferry were very long we ended up leaving earlier than we had planned. Grey line tours really were the best we have done. Easy online and communicative with email information. Great value for the price!

Great trip. Nice to get the full 90 minutes in Muir Woods. A great day out in San Francisco area. I’ve never been to Sausalito before and it was a cute place to get ice cream and go to shops with my teen.

Was an amazing experience in the sylvan surroundings of Muir Woods Nature at its very best Awesome Rosewood trees, great walking trails. Great weather Sausalito trip was also good but pretty sunny when we got there. Nice place to explore

It was a great experience! Patrick, our driver, made the trip fun! He told us fun facts and told jokes to pass the time! Patrick took us to a spot for the perfect Golden Gate Bridge photo! He also offered to drop off anyone who wanted to go to Union Square or another out of the way spot to have dinner, etc. He was a super nice man, full of information and perfect for the Big Bus Tour. The tour itself was quite enjoyable since we left the driving to Patrick!
