Profiteer van onze exclusieve ophaalservice bij grote hotels in Tokio! Vertrekkend vanaf het laatste pick-up hotel rond 9.00 uur, begint u aan een comfortabele busrit richting Fuji. Neem een korte pauze bij een uniek Japans "servicegebied" langs de snelweg. Houd er rekening mee dat we de tour niet op zaterdag en drukke dagen uitvoeren om extreem verkeer te vermijden, waardoor een naadloze en plezierige ervaring wordt gegarandeerd. De eerste stop is het hoogst bereikbare punt van de Fuji. Na een heerlijke Japanse lunch, een bezoek aan het beroemde uitzichtpunt van de berg Fuji, kunt u genieten van een gondelrit en een rustige cruise over het meer. Overweeg om de beroemde zwarte eieren te proberen bij Owakudani, waarvan wordt aangenomen dat ze zeven jaar aan je leven toevoegen. Eindelijk ervaart u de Bullet Train. Onze eerste bestemming is de Fuji, de hoogste en meest iconische berg van Japan. Ons doel is om het hoogst bereikbare punt op de berg te bereiken. Van de late lente tot de late herfst bezoeken we meestal het 5e Station, gelegen op een hoogte van 2.300 meter boven zeeniveau, waar u kunt genieten van een prachtig uitzicht op de berg Fuji. Van eind november tot half mei is het 5e Station echter gesloten vanwege sneeuw. In dat geval bezoeken we een van de volgende alternatieve plekken: het Fuji World Heritage Center, of het 1e, 2e of 4e Station.
Je gaat een unieke en verrukkelijke lunch in Japanse stijl ervaren in een restaurant in Gotemba City. Er is ook een vegetarische optie beschikbaar.
Na het nuttigen van de lunch maken we een korte stop bij een verborgen lokale uitkijkpunt van de berg Fuji genaamd Gotemba Heiwa Park (Peace Park). Het park beschikt over vele unieke bouwwerken en monumenten, evenals prachtige kersenbomen. Als je het geluk hebt om tijdens het kersenbloesemseizoen te bezoeken, zul je versteld staan van adembenemende uitzichten op roze bloesems tegen de achtergrond van de berg Fuji.
Owakudani betekent letterlijk 'Grote Kokende Vallei', en het is een beroemde vulkanische vallei die bekend staat om zijn zwavelopeningen en zwarte eieren, dit zijn eieren gekookt in heet bronwater.
Nadat we genoten hebben van onze lunch, bezoeken we Hakone, een van de beroemdste warmwaterbronnen in Japan. Onze eerste activiteit in Hakone is een schilderachtige rit met de luchtgondel. Het is een enkele reis met de kabelbaan die ons naar de Owakudani-vallei brengt.
Onze laatste activiteit is een rondvaart over het meer op een prachtig piratenschip! Laten we genieten van een boottocht van 30 minuten die een prachtig uitzicht biedt op het Ashi-meer, de iconische Torii-poort, de omliggende bergen en natuurlijk de berg Fuji!
Onze laatste stop is Odawara Station. Passagiers die de bus terug naar Tokio nemen, krijgen een pauze van 10 minuten op het station. Passagiers die kiezen voor de Bullet Train, of passagiers met een Japan Rail Pass, stappen op het station aan boord van de Bullet Train. Uw gids geeft informatie over hoe u kunt terugkeren naar uw hotel nadat u op Tokyo Station uit de Bullet Train bent gestapt.
De bullet train rit van Odawara Station naar Tokyo Station duurt ongeveer 35 minuten, en u arriveert op Tokyo Station tussen 18:30 en 19:00 uur. De tour eindigt bij Tokyo Station. Als u hulp nodig heeft, helpt uw gids u graag met aanwijzingen voor lokale treinen of metro's, of wijst u de dichtstbijzijnde taxistandplaats aan.

- Bij de rondleiding wordt buiten gelopen en is het gebruik van een trap vereist om toegang te krijgen tot het restaurant.
- De resterende tijd wordt gereserveerd voor het ophalen en reizen tussen de attracties.
- Het schema, inclusief de voltooiingstijd van de tour, bezoekuren en andere details, kan veranderen als gevolg van druk verkeer, weersomstandigheden of andere operationele redenen. In dergelijke gevallen worden de tours niet geannuleerd en vindt er geen restitutie van de tourkosten plaats.
- De Hakone Sky Gondola, Owakudani Valley of bootcruise op Lake Ashi kunnen worden uitgesloten of vervangen vanwege weersomstandigheden, druk verkeer, beperkte toegang of andere operationele redenen. In dergelijke situaties neemt uw gids u mee naar een of twee alternatieve bezienswaardigheden, zoals Peace Park in Gotemba, Hakone Shrine, Hakone Geo Museum, Hakone Komagatake Ropeway, Mt. Komagatake, Hakone Ashinoko Boat Cruise, Narukawa Museum, een boottocht op Lake Kawaguchi, of de panoramische kabelbaan op de berg Fuji.
- Als de weg naar het 5e station van Mount Fuji gesloten is vanwege sneeuw of om andere redenen, wordt er veel verkeer verwacht, of als de tour achterloopt op schema, rijden we naar het hoogst bereikbare punt. - Als u voedselallergieën of dieetbeperkingen heeft, moeten wij u helaas mededelen dat wij geen speciale maaltijden kunnen verzorgen. In dergelijke gevallen verzoeken wij u vriendelijk om de touroptie zonder lunch te kiezen.
- Als deelnemers die na de tour uitstappen bij Odawara Station vertraging ondervinden en hun geplande trein niet kunnen halen vanwege druk verkeer of operationele redenen, wordt geen restitutie verleend. Neem in plaats daarvan niet-gereserveerde zitplaatsen in de volgende trein.
- We raden je aan warme kleding en regenkleding mee te nemen, inclusief een regenjas en een paraplu, voor je bezoek.
- Kinderen tot 5 jaar kunnen gratis mee met de tour. Houd er echter rekening mee dat busstoelen en lunch niet gratis worden verstrekt. Als er busstoelen of lunch voor een kind nodig zijn, wordt het toepasselijke kindertarief in rekening gebracht.
- Gasten met de volgende gezondheidsproblemen moeten buitenactiviteiten in Owakudani Valley vermijden: Allergisch astma, bronchiale aandoeningen, luchtwegklachten, hartklachten en personen die hartpacemakerapparatuur gebruiken.
- Een taxi kan worden gebruikt voor pick-up service. Om operationele redenen kan het zijn dat een gids u niet vergezelt tijdens de ophaalservice. Pick-up diensten bij elk hotel zijn beschikbaar wanneer de reservering meer dan een uur voor de geplande pick-up tijd is gemaakt.

On 1st June 2026 my wife and I (visiting from Australia) joined this tour. Hotel pick-up was timely and we were taken to the group gathering point in Shinjuku. Thereafter our local tour guide Yuki accompanied us by coach to the various highlights, the 1st being the 5th station (topmost) on Mt Fuji itself. We were blessed with fine weather throughout and the various stopping points and lunch were all excellent. Yuki was knowledgeable, professional, funny and well organized, her commentary throughout the 10+ hour trip was fascinating. We had JR Rail passes so didn't need the Gray Line shinkensen tickets when the tour party dispersed. For a casual visitor to Japan / Tokyo this tour would not have been possible w/o a car and working knowledge of the Hakone area, so such a full day was excellent value for money.

The pickup at our hotel was extremely convenient because it’s rather early to try to get somewhere else for pickup. We had a slightly late start, but our pickup guide Kyoko was there for us to keep us updated. She was very knowledgeable. The main tour guide, Yuki, was great, but they need to turn up the volume on the PA a little. Yuki kept us on track throughout the day. The driver Ono-san was accommodating and stopped to let us get pics of the peak during a moment of sunshine. Both kids and adults enjoyed the various stops. The bullet train return to Tokyo was a great opportunity to ride one. Would recommend.

Our tour guide, Mikami, was very knowledgeable about all of the places we went and added fun tutorials along the way. Overall a great experience. This tour is best for tourists who would like to visit a variety of landmarks near Mt Fuji and Hakone before dinner time, but there is no brief hiking segment for Mt Fuji . Total trip took around six to seven hours. This guided tour cost about $160 per adult, which seems fair given the tour guide, bus driver, optional lunch meal, and admission tickets to account for. The Mt. Fuji stop may feel slightly short, there is no brief hiking course involved. The optional Japanese-style lunch felt very much like a comforting, home-cooked meal. The Pirate Boat Lake Cruise segment may feel out of place, but Lake Ashi was wonderful and the ship is practically brand new with plenty of observation decks provided for some fantastic views. The tour guide kept people engaged with interesting facts about the landmarks of this tour and Japan in general throughout the bus ride. I strongly recommend reading the details of the tour itinerary to better understand the overall scope of this tour and the depth of each stop. Our tour group had plenty of vacant bus seats, enough for us to sit wherever we wanted. If seeing Mt Fuji is your main priority, try to hold off on booking until you can check the most accurate weather forecast. I’d recommend checking the 24-to-48-hour visibility index or live camera feeds right before you reserve your spot. This tour is not for you if you expect to climb Mt Fuji even for a brief moment.

It was raining when we left Tokyo, so I wasn't expecting much. I told myself that even if we couldn't see Mt. Fuji, I would just enjoy the day trip. The guide was very friendly and shared lots of interesting information during the bus ride, which made the journey enjoyable. To our surprise, the weather improved as we got closer to Mt. Fuji. When we reached the 5th Station, the clouds had cleared and we had an amazing view of the mountain. Seeing Mt. Fuji appear after such a gloomy start made the experience even more special. It turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip to Japan.

A fabulous day out. 8:30am-7pm.. Immaculate coach and informative guide.. Key stops at Mt Fiji, Lunxh, Shizuaka Peace Park, Hanone Goldola and thermals, Lake Cruise and returned to Toyko Station on the Shinkansen (Bullet Train).

Weather was good and the trip was very busy approximately 12 hour's the guide was fantastic very knowledgeable and the bus driver was good too. I would advise you take your own food though as the food we had was OK just.... so all in all a very busy day but well worth it
