Op 2300 meter boven zeeniveau biedt Fuji 5th Station een panorama over het Fuji Five Lakes-gebied beneden, evenals een adembenemend uitzicht op wolkenzee. Er is ook Komitake Shrine en een flink aantal winkels snacks of souvenirs. Van eind december tot half maart kunt u sneeuwsleeën ervaren op het 2e station van Fuji (we gaan niet naar het 5e station).
Als de flagship store in Japan is Gotemba Premier Outlet perfect gelegen waar World Culture Heritage Mt. Fuji van heel dichtbij te zien was. Het heeft ook het grootste aantal winkels onder de Japanse verkooppunten. ・Als de dienstregeling meer dan een uur vertraging heeft door verkeersopstoppingen, kan de Gotemba Outlet worden afgesloten.
Bezoek Owakudani met het toneel van opkomend vulkanisch gas dat waterstofsulfide bevat! Ga je het beroemde zwarte ei hier proberen? Maak een kabelbaanrit naar het overzicht van de vallei in de hoge!
De laatste stop van deze tour neemt Pirate Ship op Lake Ashi. Lake Ashinoko werd ongeveer 3000 jaar geleden gevormd in de caldera van Hakone-vulkanen, en de totale omtrek is ongeveer 20 kilometer. De prachtige torii, groene bomen langs het meer of de weerspiegeling van het meer zijn perfect tijdens uw "piratenexcursie".

- Minimaal 10 deelnemers zijn nodig om het vertrek van de tour te bevestigen. In dat geval nemen wij ongeveer 7 dagen van tevoren contact met u op.
- Wacht op de stoep buiten Shinjuku Center Building AM7 : 15 en zoek uw Gids (of VIATOR logo) rond.
- De duur van het verblijf in The Gotemba Premium Outlet kan worden verkort als gevolg van verkeersomstandigheden
- Vanwege het weer, de verkeersomstandigheden of de opschorting van de exploitatie, kan de exploitant een mogelijkheid hebben om niet alle activiteiten te realiseren. De tour zal bestaan uit het bijwonen van een alternatieve plaats of het geven van een geschenk als compensatie, afhankelijk van een situatie op dat moment. De schorsing van zowel het piratenschip als de touwbaan zal resulteren in het aanbieden van cadeaubonnen ter waarde van 2.000 yen per persoon. Restitutie wordt niet gegeven voor deze wijzigingen
- Als de dienstregeling meer dan een uur vertraagd is door verkeersopstoppingen, kan de Gotemba Outlet worden afgesloten.
- Houd er rekening mee dat als u niet op tijd terugkomt op de toeristische plek, de bus zal vertrekken zonder te wachten, omdat het wordt beschouwd als een achterlating.

This was a fantastic day out!! Communication in advance was excellent; a day change was easily accomplished. The meeting at the bus in the morning was effortless. Our tour guide, Rena, was first class; her English was great, she was enthusiastic and always full of energy and useful information. She was even thoughtful enough to warn the group that motor vehicles come from a different direction than many of us are used to. The bus driver was extremely safe and the ride was first class. The day’s activities were extremely well managed. The one-way boat trip and one-way cable car (rope) trip were such a good idea, with the bus meeting us at both destinations. We were blessed with wonderful weather and great views. This day trip was well worth the very reasonable expense and I would highly recommend it for international visitors to Tokyo.

i had missed my original scheduled trip and contacted Viator. They were responsive, flexible and competent. I received a replacement trip two days later and Yasu-san and Yamada-san (guide and driver) were glad to see and receive me. Yasu-san was a competent guide delivering discipline, knowledge and good humour simultaneously. Yamada-san drove smoothly and beautifully. The weather held. The schedule was well-paced. All in, a great day was had by all. Would I sign up again? Of course! Keep up the good work and keep on trekkin'.

Cloudy day so didn’t see Mt Fuji in all her glory but can’t help the weather unfortunately. We also didn’t do the ropeway or pirate ship as “too windy” which were the reasons why we chose this tour option. Tour guide was ok nice enough and good English. Basically the trip ended up being a bus ride to souvenir and outlet shops - we did get a voucher though! A bit disappointing and would have been nice to get a heads up re the weather and possibility of not seeing Mt Fuji and option to reschedule due to weather. Would be a great tour if conditions were perfect I guess!

The sights visited and activities included where all good, however the guide’s English was poor and he gave very little to no information/explanations. Also the sound system on the coach was not working properly so what little information he gave could not be heard! The lunch boxes had not been refrigerated so were warm and the food was starting to sweat so we felt it was safest to not eat it, which resulted in us having to spend all our time at the outlet mall getting lunch - which actually was delicious, would recommend the Italian there!
