Dit mountainbike-avontuur verbindt je opnieuw met de natuur terwijl je door verborgen wegen rijdt, omringd door weelderige landschappen, watervallen, wilde dieren, tunnels en afgelegen berghuizen. Elke bocht brengt een nieuwe verrassing met zich mee, van adembenemende uitzichtpunten tot spannende downhill-momenten die je adrenaline zullen opkrikken en je naar meer zullen doen verlangen. Ontworpen voor alle niveaus, als je kunt fietsen, kunt u dit doen. Begeleid door de lokale bevolking die elk geheim van het pad kennen, verken je een kant van Colombia die maar weinigen ooit hebben gezien. Halverwege laadt u zich op met een verfrissend drankje en na de rit geniet u van een royale, authentieke Colombiaanse lunch die de ervaring compleet maakt. Dit is niet zomaar een fietstocht – het is een wilde, meeslepende reis in de bergen die je nooit zult vergeten.

We halen u om 8 uur 's ochtends op bij uw plaats. We verhuizen naar het zuiden van Medellin naar een koffieregio vol bergen. Tijdens de rit geven we je een banaan en de rit ernaartoe is ongeveer 50 minuten.
In dit stadje stoppen we om een heerlijke koffie te drinken, een lokale energiesnack te eten en ons klaar te maken om de fietsbergervaring te beginnen met alle aanwijzingen van veiligheid.
De hele tour gaat over een vergeten weg in de bergen, waar 100 jaar geleden de spoorlijn was die alle koffie van deze koffieregio naar Medellin vervoerde. De tour gaat door koffieboerderijen, watervallen, vergeten bruggen en geweldige uitzichtpunten. We gaan van een stad genaamd Camilo C naar de stad genaamd Palomos. In het midden van de route biedt de gids typisch eten, bier voor een waterval waar de reizigers zich kunnen verfrissen om de tour voort te zetten. Bijna de hele weg gaat naar beneden en vlakke sporen, dus als een persoon kan fietsen, kan deze ervaring worden opgedaan. Aan het einde van de rit waar we aankwamen in Los Palomos, biedt de gids ijs om van te genieten op de weg terug naar Medellin.

I particularly enjoyed a meal with folk dance, which will remain etched in my memory. Thanks to this trip, I was able to discover the history of the country, its customs, and its treasures in an authentic and warm manner. Started with a drive to a neighboring city. The supplied mountain bikes were great. During the biking there was a stop to get drinks and visit a waterfall. Lunch was had immediately after. Overall a good experience
Very friendly guides, nice path through galleries and bridges. Small hike to a waterfall, nice breakfast served by a nice elderly woman. Very big and tasty lunch. Be awere: you should not be afraid of heights!

Biking in the mountains on an abandoned rail path was the highlight of my trip to Medellin. Absolutely loved it. Going through tunnels, over old bridges, small communities, learning about the history, practicing my español 😁.. Juan was more a buddy than guide.

This is by far one of my best bike tours i’ve ever done. As an enthusiast cyclist i bike pretty much everywhere i go but this trail was just fantastic! We went on an old railroad track going through tunnels and abandoned bridges on the south skirts of the city. Beautiful scenery and a taste of what real life is like in this area as you pass by people houses, domestic animals of all kinds and small businesses just going about their days. Juan Jose my guide was great and very knowledgeable about the history of the area and an overall good Paisa to ride with!!
