Beschrijving
Mt. Overall, it was a wonderful excursion. We really enjoyed the hike; it was challenging, but easily doable with some hiking experience, surefootedness, and average fitness. We were a group of four and our guide Ibrahim adjusted to our pace. Overall, our guide and our porters took excellent care of us. There was varied food and many snacks in between. The view from the top was truly the best reward, and seeing the sunset and the starry sky was a special experience. We would definitely recommend the trip!
Such a great experience, i was on my own and the 2 guides Alhiem and Siu were very kind and help full! Funny too :-) Thank you so much guys !!
I booked the two-day hike up Mount Rinjani with Rinjani Hero, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our friendly porters and our two fantastic guides, Ibrahim and Sendiy, took excellent care of us. We were treated to delicious food and they provided all the necessary gear. Thanks for the tour. It will remain a highlight of my trip :)
As a 70 year-old solo traveler, I had my concerns about being able to do the two day one night hike to the Rinjani crater rim. Thanks to the excellent team of Ibrahim and the three porters I made it to the rim and back. This is one of the highlights of my Lombok stay. The transport from my lodging in Senggigi to Senaru was great. Accommodations in Senaru were great. The food and the campsite were outstanding. But it really was the trek leader and the porters that made this experience an unforgettable one.
I highly recommend doing the Rinjani hike with Rinjani heroes! Everything was perfect: the pick-up service was good, we had a very nice accommodation in Senaru village the night before we started the trek and the communication with the operator was easy and quick. Our guide, Joe, was just amazing! He is a warm-hearted and fun person who really cares about his clients. We felt very safe throughout the whole trip with him. And he always feeded us with loads of cookies and beng bengs!! Big thanks to you again! Also the two porters who accompanied us were great and cooked some delicious food with loads of vegetables and fruits for us. We also loved how nicely prepared the plates looked :) We couldn't have had a better experience!
Great experience! We had fantastic weather and really good porters who cooked excellent food. Our guide Ibrahim was also great with good English!
We had an awesome time on the trip! Our Guide and porters were phenomenal and we were amazed by it all every step of the way. They were so caring and the food and setup that they provided was next level. Who would’ve thought you’d be having Nasi goreng cooked fresh on the mountain for you. Only things I would say are ITS NOT A BEGINNER HIKE (that was some hard work getting up there so don’t expect it to be easy) and do your research, try and go with a more ethical company when it comes to the treatment and pay of the porters and guides. These guys deserve a way bigger cut of what we pay for this hike (they are for sure underpaid), it felt very unfair watching them lug 30+ kilo baskets up and down the mountain in the tropical heat!
Great organization of our 1N2J trek to the crater. Quality equipment, delicious and plentiful meals, a night before departure in a very good hotel, and transfers before and after were very well organized. A big thank you to our guide Ma-In, who motivated and supported us throughout the trek, and a big thank you also to our porters who do exceptional work! I recommend this company with my eyes closed!!
Great experience, I recommend it!! I was apprehensive about climbing to the top, but the guide, Main, was excellent: attentive and always kind! The porters were incredible and prepared us great meals. We were well-fed at every stage! Moreover, the camping equipment was of very good quality, and we did not get cold!! The view is breathtaking!!
We completed the trek to the crater in 2 days and one night, and it was an unforgettable experience with the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen. Our guide Main was lovely and spoke good English and even a little French! The meals were plentiful and delicious, and even snacks were provided at every break! Also, there was more than enough water provided. The trek is accessible as breaks are organized very regularly during the ascent, and we have trekking poles to help us. The equipment was of very good quality; we had tables and chairs for eating, and the tent and sleeping bag kept us warm all night, plus a bonus for the little mattress and pillow! The porters were great as well. The transfer upon our arrival and departure went smoothly, and the night before the trek began was very pleasant. In conclusion, go discover Mount Rinjani; it is an unforgettable experience with a top-notch company!
