Mount Kilimanjaro : 6-daagse trektocht – Machame Route
Beschrijving
De Machame-route staat ook bekend als de Whiskey-route, gezien de reputatie een zware klim te zijn, in tegenstelling tot de gemakkelijkere Marangu-route, die bekend staat als de Coca Cola-route. In tegenstelling tot de geleidelijke hellingen en hutten op de Marangu-route, wandelen de klimmers op Machame steilere paden, voor langere afstanden, terwijl ze in tenten slapen. De beklimming van de Machame Route kan in minimaal zes dagen (vijf nachten) op de berg worden gedaan. Het wordt echter meestal gedurende zeven dagen (zes nachten) aangepakt voor een beter schema voor acclimatisatie op de hoogte. De tocht begint bij Machame Gate, gelegen in de zuidelijke voet van de berg, in het weelderige, vruchtbare regenwoud.

Season Master Adventures were excellent among multiple options we had we booked and did six days tracking with Jack and Frank as guides they were great and very attentive back to poters, chefs, waiters, and entire crew were very friendly.
