Houd er rekening mee dat deze tour geen privévoertuig gebruikt en gebruik maakt van het openbaar vervoer. Deze tour omvat enkele uren wandelen in de buitenlucht. Ervaar Japans beroemdste en meest iconische bezienswaardigheid tijdens je reis naar Japan tijdens deze dagtrip vanuit Tokio! Deze tour is ontworpen om ervoor te zorgen dat klanten de mogelijkheid hebben om de berg Fuji te zien vanaf vele indrukwekkende locaties rond het Kawaguchiko-gebied. Als je van de natuur houdt en tijd buiten doorbrengt, is deze tour iets voor jou! De tour biedt gasten een goed uitgebalanceerde route met onder andere natuur, heiligdommen en tempels, een museum en geweldige fotografiemogelijkheden. Lake Kawaguchiko is het grootste van de vijf meren die Mount Fuji omringen, en het is daarom het beste om te bezoeken voor een dagtocht om zoveel mogelijk te ervaren. Je tour begint met reizen van Shinjuku Express Bus Station in Tokyo naar Kawaguchiko station. Vanaf daar gebruik je de sightseeing bus met je gids om Lake Kawaguchiko te verkennen!

Ontmoet je gids buiten het Shinjuku-busstation. Je gids brengt je vervolgens naar het busstation waar je om 08:10/08:15 uur de Shinjuku Express Highway Bus naar het Kawaguchiko-station neemt. Afhankelijk van het verkeer duurt het ongeveer 2 uur om op station Kawaguchiko aan te komen.
Aankomst op het Kawaguchiko-station. Uw gids koopt uw 1-daagse sightseeingbuspassen en we wachten dan op de volgende beschikbare sightseeingbus. Vervolgens stappen we in de sightseeingbus naar onze eerste bestemming, een natuurpark en centrum naast het Kawaguchiko-meer. Dit duurt ongeveer 30 minuten. Aankomst op onze eerste bestemming, een prachtig natuurpark en centrum dat beroemd is om enkele van de beste uitzichten op de berg Fuji, bloemen die veranderen met de seizoenen en geweldige winkels om souvenirs en snacks te kopen. Geniet van een rondleiding door het park met je gids, en daarna wat vrije tijd om te genieten van het landschap, het uitzicht, foto's te maken en te winkelen. We verlaten het park, wachten en stappen weer in de sightseeingbus naar de bushalte voor het kunstmuseum. Dit duurt ongeveer 5 minuten. Je tweede bestemming zal een beroemd heiligdomcomplex zijn. Tijdens de wandeling kunt u genieten van het uitzicht op het Japanse platteland en een rondleiding door het heiligdomcomplex.
We zullen nu tijd doorbrengen in een beroemd kunstmuseum dat bekend staat om zijn artistieke kimono met scènes uit de natuur en de berg Fuji. Het museum heeft ook een kleine tuin/pad waar je rond kunt lopen, een theehuis, een winkel en een café om van te genieten.
Na het kunstmuseum wachten we en stappen we weer in de sightseeingbus naar de Fuji-kabelbaan van Lake Kawaguchiko. Dit duurt ongeveer 10 minuten. Onze eindbestemming is de Fuji-kabelbaan, gelegen aan de overkant van de cruisehaven. Hier maakt u een rondvaart met de kabelbaan naar de top van een berg met uitzicht op het Kawaguchiko-meer en de berg Fuji. Het kabelbaancomplex heeft ook een klein heiligdom, toiletten en een café. Verlaat het kabelbaancomplex en neem de eerstvolgende beschikbare sightseeingbus terug naar het Kawaguchiko-station. Het duurt ongeveer 15 minuten om op station Kawaguchiko aan te komen. Hier kunt u even de tijd nemen om eventuele laatste souvenirs en spullen voor de reis naar huis te kopen en naar het toilet te gaan voordat u in de bus terug naar Shinjuku stapt. De tour gaat om 17:50 uur aan boord van de bus van Kawaguchiko station naar Shinjuku station. Aankomst om ongeveer 19:45 uur terug op het Shinjuku-busstation in Tokio

Our guide, Nobuhiko, was absolutely excellent. The tour was very well thought out and we spent a full day seeing many interesting places, including a wonderful kimono museum and going up a ropeway for views of Mount Fuji. During the whole day, Nobuhiko told us all sorts of facts and history so we could learn more about the history, and he always made sure we could stop or shop when needed. He managed everything for us making the day very comfortable and easy. He also offered to take lots of photos for us! He took us to a delicious local ramen restaurant for lunch, and answered all our questions about the Japanese language and etiquette. Even though we were really tired due to issues at the airport the previous day, this full day tour was incredible and we wouldn't have missed it for anything. Highly recommend!! Arigato Gozaimasu!
We participated in the Mount Fuji tour, with a visit to the Kimono Museum and a walk in the characteristic town, and it was a truly exceptional experience. A special thanks goes to our guides Jeff and Yamazaki, who made the day even more pleasant. Jeff and Yamazaki proved to be extremely professional, friendly, and always available to answer every question, sharing interesting facts and information about the places visited. Mount Fuji is simply spectacular and the tour was organized down to the smallest detail, allowing us to live an authentic Japanese experience; unfortunately, the clouds played a bad trick on us and we did not see Mount Fuji. The visit to the Kimono Museum was very interesting and made us appreciate the history and tradition of this splendid country even more. The walk in the town was also a special moment; between characteristic views and a very beautiful temple, we spent a wonderful day. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting Japan: it is perfectly organized, rich in authentic experiences, and accompanied by exceptional guides like Jeff and Yamazaki. The trip from Tokyo by bus takes about 2 hours. The meeting place at the bus terminal was very easy to find. Take sometging to drink with you, but snack will be an extra burden because you can't eat on the bus and during the tour there will be no time to snack. Better wait for lunch break and get some food then. We were unlucky with the weather, so we didn't actually see Fuji due to heavy overcast, still we were glad we took this tour. We had 2 guides: one was local who spoke English very well and the other was an American; both were very helpful and we spoke the entire trip. Kimono museum was a unique experience, highly recommend to visit, it alone was worth the trip.
Jeff was an amazing guide! He speaks perfect English and great Japanese, and he even acted as a translator so we could have wonderful conversations with the locals. He was punctual, friendly, and communication via WhatsApp was seamless. Throughout the tour, he kept asking for our preferences to customize the experience as much as possible. All admission fees were included, and Jeff managed everything perfectly. Even though it was a long 12-hour day, the trip was so well-paced that we didn't feel tired at all. Highly recommended!
We did 2 tours from Tokyo, one day was the Mt Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko and the 2nd day was Hakone and Lake Ashi. Jeff was our guide for both tours. He is from America and speaks perfect English and great Japanese. He was really amazing. He was on time, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, fun, and responded to email and WhatsApp promptly. Highly recommend Jeff. He showed us special museums in addition to the main attractions and had tips to put us at the front of long lines and to make everything smoother and more pleasant. As advertised, each of those days will be fairly long, about 12 hour days, but the locations require hours of travel time round trip from Tokyo. Mt Fuji was visible on our first day but not on the second day so we were glad that we booked 2 trips.
Jeff our guide was friendly and went out of his way to cater to our needs, we lucked out with weather and had a fabulous day to view Mt Fuji, the day was great and some great tips for our time in Tokyo too!
