Terwijl het vliegtuig omhoog gaat en naar het oosten gaat, hoeven passagiers niet lang te wachten om te ontdekken wat hen te wachten staat, de bergen zoals ze altijd zijn geweest. Eerst voor hun uiterst linkse bezoeker zie je Gosaithan, ook wel shisha pahngma genoemd, staande op de majestueuze hoogte van 8.013 m direct rechts van Gosaithan verschijnt Doreje Lakpa (6.966 m), een berg die lijkt op het nummer 8 liggend en bedekt met sneeuw. Rechts is Dorge Lakpa phurb-Ghyachu, dat opdoemt over de kathmnadu-vallei. Terwijl het vliegtuig verder vliegt, komen de bergen steeds dichterbij. Het volgende op de visie is choba-bhamare, de kleinste van de partij op 5.933 m, maar bijzonder koppig omdat het nooit is beklommen. Dan verschijnt de berg die niet alleen prominent in zicht is, maar ook in spiritueel-Gauri-shankar. Van Lord Shiva en zijn partner Gauri wordt gezegd dat ze deze berg beschermen, op de trotse hoogte van 7.134 m en de top had een geschiedenis van mislukte pogingen tot 1979. Gauri-Shankar is scherp en zeer opvallend tijdens de bergvlucht. Terwijl het vliegtuig naar het land van de rijzende zon beweegt, volgt de oostelijke Himalaya een opeenvolging van glorieuze bergen. Melungtse, een plateauachtige berg die zich uitstrekt tot 7.023 m, chugimago op 6.297 m is nog steeds een maagd, wachtend om beklommen te worden. Op 6.956 m lijkt Number Mountain op een borst, moederlijke bron in de lucht die pure melk levert aan de vormen van de solu khumbu. Het volgende is Karyolung, een intens witte berg die op 6.511 m glinstert met de rijzende zon. Cho-oyu is de achtste hoogste berg ter wereld. Met een hoogte van 8.021 m lijkt het verbluffend mooi vanuit het vliegtuig. Het volgende op het menu is Gyanchungkang, op een majestueuze hoogte van 7.952 m, beschouwd als een uiterst moeilijke klim. Rechts van Gyanchungkang bevindt zich pumori (7.161m). Naarmate passagiers dichter bij Everest komen. Er is Nuptse (7,855 m), wat westpiek betekent, die de richting van Everest aangeeft. Eindelijk is er de everest (8.848 m) zelf, bij de Nepalezen bekend als Sagarmatha en bij de Tibetanen chomolungma. Er is al veel over Everest geschreven. Maar om het tijdens een bergvlucht daadwerkelijk persoonlijk te zien, is iets anders. Zelfs terwijl het daar voor de ogen doemt, blijft het en enigma, deze hoogste plek op aarde.

We pop-up to this agency for everest flight ticket while in Kathmandu because itbwas near our hotel in thamel. We ended doing pokhara tour with them as well. this is best agency in thamel . Very good and smooth and polite tour arrangement by walk mountain. When we travel sometime we get small haslle sometime with driver sometime with hotel but with this agency of Vishnu we have had no single issue than we agreed. Before trip we had WhatsApp conversation with Vishnu and he explained everything and modified itinerary as per our requirement.
