We had a fantastic tour and are so glad we chose this company. Rokko, our driver, was very punctual, polite, and drove with great care. When my younger son felt travel-sick due to the twisty mountain roads, Rokko kindly stopped on the side for a break. The view from the car at the top of the mountain was breathtaking. Rokko also knew which border crossing to use to avoid the crowds, allowing us to cross in just 2 minutes without any queue. We arrived around 10:30 AM and met our local guide, Milan (apologies if the name is misspelled). He was an incredible guide, full of engaging stories and fascinating facts about Mostar and its sights. We arrived just before the crowds, giving us a perfect opportunity to take great pictures. After the guided tour, we had about three hours to explore further—visiting the buildings we learned about, shopping for souvenirs and local wine, and enjoying a delicious lunch with traditional food, wine, and beer. Mostar is a very busy place with tourists and can be quite hot in the summer, but it is absolutely worth a visit.
It wasn’t a good day in Mostar, it was raining heavily. I mean raining! We visited on the way the waterfalls which was truly amazing. We hired a car, in which we couldn’t get the day nav to work, so be aware, Bosnia is not in the Eurozone. So we couldn’t find the market as the signs were in Bosnian. I’m sure it would have been fantastic and Pepsi went by bus said it was.
We have made three trips within 14 days. We had the same driver twice and another driver once. Both drivers drove excellently and were extremely friendly and accommodating. It was a pleasure to travel with the Enterprise. The cars were always clean and air conditioned and the drivers very helpful, especially because we were two families (eight people). Two of the smaller children usually get nauseous when driving, so the drivers drove the coastal roads very slowly and even made extra stops and provided very helpful support. The drivers were always super punctual for pickup! Both drivers were very nice and well told about the country and people and their lives and were very sympathetic. We were in Makarska on the Skywalk, in Mostar and in Dubrovnik with the Enterprise from Makarska. We can recommend them 100%!!! The drivers spoke English and also relatively good German!
This was a great trip all around! Everything was organised professionally and the city of Mostar is really interesting with plenty of sight to see! Would highly recommend this tour!
Driver was excellent, on time, very friendly and efficient. Transport was very clean comfortable and air conditioned. And Mostar was a great experience. Overall a great day
Dear Phill, thank you for such a nice review. Simply Adria team
This was the best tour we have taken during our whole Croatia trip, and also one of the most memorable I had in my life. Antonio, the owner, who was our guide, was knowledgeable, smart, interesting, nice, friendly, and helpful. On the way, he engaged in every interesting political and social conversation with my teenage son and allowed us to learn a lot about Yugoslavian history, Antonia also was very organized and creative. He also organized for us a guide for a private walking tour of Mostar, who showed us the city, recommended a great restaurant to eat and took us for a tour of Turkish house for free! Mostar is extremely culturally interesting and stays in your memory months after you have seen it. On the way back Antonio also made a stop at local Kravice waterfalls where we were able to swim for an hour and to buy some really cheap and tasty Bosnian liqueurs. A beautiful nature place to visit on a hot day! Even two months after the trip, this tour still is a fresh memory for us. We also had a private tour to Split, Trogir, and Brela, and a transfer to Ploce ( for a ferry to Trpanj), organized by the same agency, and those two also were very well organized and comfortable! We had a van that gave all four of us in my family a lot of space. I highly recommend Antonio and hope to see him again and have another tour with him! If you are in Makarska or Tucepi, that should be your choice for a private tour!
Definitely I recommend this company to go with on any trip. Communication was great. Always responded to me in professional manner and quickly. Transport very comfortable in nice cars. The driver Antonio is very friendly and tells you a lot about the culture. We were on private tour and he was very helpful with choosing great places to see.
Highly recommend taking the trip, Antonio was an excellent guide as well as driver. He provided a wonderful narrative along the way which greatly enhanced the experience. Our associated walking tour of Mostar was the perfect way to see and understand the old town and bridge.
Very comfortable ride with Antonio during day trip from Makarska to Mostar! Great tour in Bosnia! Highly recommended.
My friends and I did a private day trip from Makarska to Mostar and had a great time. Antonio from Simply Adria replied to all of my emails right away and answered all of my questions. He picked us up in Makarska right on time and drove us to Mostar. Once in Mostar, we met a tour guide who showed us the city and explained the history behind everything we saw. After the tour there was time to wander around on our own for a few hours before meeting Antonio again to drive back to Makarska. He provided local recommendations of places for us to eat and see for the remainder of our stay. The restaurant he recommended for dinner was one of the best we had in a trip that took us all throughout Croatia. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone staying in Makarska that would like to visit Mostar for the day.
