Na Medjugorje sluit u zich weer aan bij uw chauffeur en tourescorte voor een andere korte trip naar het huis van de beroemdste brug van de regio, Mostar. Verken de smalle kasseienstraatjes die de oude binnenstad van Mostar vormen met de oude brug als middelpunt. Vang een glimp op van de onverschrokken lokale duikers die vanaf 24 meter hoogte met hun hoofd naar beneden duiken in het kolkende water van de rivier Neretva beneden. Geniet van voldoende vrije tijd om alles te zien wat de oude binnenstad te bieden heeft.
De Oude Brug Mostar is een gereconstrueerde 16e-eeuwse Ottomaanse brug die staat als symbool van veerkracht, beroemd om het hosten van lokale duikers die in de rivier beneden springen.
Stop op de terugweg bij de middeleeuwse stad Pocitelj die op de werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat. Neem een pauze van de rit terug en beklim de toren met uitzicht op de rivier de Neretva.
De Neretva rivier is een smaragdgroene waterweg die beroemd is om zijn koude temperaturen en verbluffende helderheid terwijl hij door het hart van Mostar stroomt.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
De ophaaltijden zijn per locatie verschillend. Ons reserveringsteam neemt contact met u op met de exacte ophaaltijd. De ophaalservice voor alle accommodaties en hotels in de oude stad vindt plaats voor de Pilepoort. Dit komt omdat de oude binnenstad een voetgangersgebied is.

- De Oude Brug in Mostar kan glad zijn.
- Uw ophaaltijd kan afwijken van de geadverteerde starttijd. Dit komt omdat de ophaaltijden rond de kern van de oude stad zijn geregeld.
- Veel winkels en restaurants in Mostar accepteren geen creditcards. Het is raadzaam om wat contant geld achter de hand te hebben. De meeste verkopers in Mostar accepteren euro's.
- Hotel pick-up binnen 20 minuten rijden buiten Dubrovnik is alleen beschikbaar voor de optie voor een kleine groepsreis. Voor de standaard groepsreis is het ophalen van hotels alleen beschikbaar voor hotels in Dubrovnik.

We had a wonderful trip to Mostar and Medjugorje! Our guide, Orhan, was fantastic. He shared so many interesting facts about both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, making the journey informative and enjoyable from start to finish. Our driver was professional, punctual, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the trip. Everything was very well organized, and we truly enjoyed the experience. Drazen was an awesome tour guide! We learned a ton, saw all the beautiful sites, and the tour was able to get us through the border between Montenegro and Croatia with relative ease. We had a full day with all kinds of beautiful scenery.
Drazen was perfect from start to finish. He is attentive, knows everything, and explains in a fluid manner. At customs, he is efficient. I found Montenegro truly beautiful. It is essential to spend a day there with Superiors and Drazen.

The sites visited were all very beautiful, I truly wish there was less time spent in Mostar and more in Medjugorje. I thought there would be enough time to climb apparition hill but there wasn’t even enough time to see the bottom of the hill or drive by the bottom of the apparition site. There wasn’t even enough lack of communication for the pickup and they ended up shifting my pickup time a whole hour back even after they confirmed it. A lot of time is lost during travel and border crossing (which is out of control of the driver). Our tour guide/driver only talked to us about each city while in the car and did not like walk around the cities with us. I liked having more individual free time in each city, but it is really difficult to hear the tour guide talking while you are driving on a loud road and sitting in the very back of the car. There was also miscommunication about where we were meeting to leave Mostar which ended up us losing more additional time. Overall ended up enjoying the trip and would go again, just could have been improved greatly with better communication. And if there is any flexibility in the itinerary would love more time in Medjugorje to be able to visit apparition hill.

Drazen shared his knowledge of the country, knew how to find a short border queue and helped me re-unite with glasses that I left at the first stop.
I got a call 8:30the night before trip asking if I could postpone the trip, this was after it was confirmed earlier that day. The driver that came had never done the trip before gave no guidance we missed out Medugorje all together I had to pay $10 euros to see waterfalls not mentioned in booking. This trip was thrown together because something went wrong. I am not happy paying full price for it.
Dražen did a great job explaining the history of each place we visited as well as further information of the local areas/countries and gave first hand personal experience to part of his tour which goes a long way and shows how much he truly loves his country! The border control is a nightmare with the new digital ID system and adds so much time to the trip, however once through the trip itself was incredible! Sad to hear about the hotel and waterpark they are wanting to build close to Kravica Waterfalls, a natural beauty I feel will be sadly lost by the amount of tourists that will be brought in by this build. As a travel agent, I will recommend this tour with clients!
