De Rockies op hun stilst. Jij op je best. Zie Moraine Lake gloeien onder het laatste gouden licht en ga dan naar Lake Louise terwijl de Victoria Glacier de laatste stralen van de dag vangt. Loop over de kustlijn terwijl de menigte uitdunt en het water bezinkt in iets bijna onwerkelijks. Je Gids kent de verborgen uitzichtpunten die de meeste mensen nooit vinden, de plekken waar de reflectie perfect is en de stilte totaal is. Dan als het licht verdwijnt, glijden we in de schemering de Bow Valley Parkway binnen, prime time voor elanden, herten en beren met een 95% waarnemingspercentage van mei tot oktober. Een naadloze avond die je de Rockies geeft zoals ze eigenlijk zijn. Voor avonturiers op zoek naar de stilte en rust de meren houden voor zonsondergang.

Begin bij Moraine Lake, een van de meest gefotografeerde plekken in de Canadese Rockies. Als de zon ondergaat, verandert het water in een diep turkoois, dat de Vallei van de Tien Pieken reflecteert in het vervagende licht.
Vervolgens gaan we naar Lake Louise, waar de ondergaande zon een gouden gloed over het water werpt, omlijst door Victoria Glacier in de verte.
Als de schemering valt, reizen we over de schilderachtige Bow Valley Parkway, de beste tijd voor het spotten van wilde dieren. Houd je camera klaar, elanden, herten, beren en andere lokale dieren zijn vaak op dit moment van de dag onderweg. Je Gids deelt onderweg inzichten over het lokale ecosysteem en het gedrag van wilde dieren.

Wonderful experience! Saw a black bear munching away on berries. Great guide in Emily - very friendly and knowledgeable. Comfortable journey there and back. Nicely paced - enough time for what we needed. Yummy packed dinner with sandwich, can of pop and pecan tart or banana bread.

This was without a doubt the best tour my husband and I have ever been on. Gareth was exceptional with his knowledge and hospitality to the group. Always aware of time and our location status allowed everybody to get the most out of our experience. His attitude about the environment and animals came through during the trip and he took great pictures too! The highlight on the ride back was spotting 2 grizzly bears! Great day I’ll never forget.

Two grizzlies on the ride back, great pictures, and an attitude toward the environment and wildlife that clearly came through in everything he said and did. Great tour. Lake Moraine was beautiful, but the highlight of our trip was seeing a black bear on the way home. Elly, our guide, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the area. She pulled over, and we watched for several minutes as the black bear ate berries and walked along the roadway.
A black bear eating berries and wandering the roadway while everyone watched for several minutes, that's a proper sighting. Ellie knowing exactly when to pull over and give it the time it deserved is what makes the difference. Really glad it was the highlight and hope to have you back out here again sometime.
Gini was an amazing guide. She is knowledgeable and passionate about the area. The landscape is truly breathtaking. Both Moraine Lake and Lake Louise have to be seen to be believed. Beautiful blue water in the middle of an amazing mountain landscape. Would recommend this operator and this trip wholeheartedly.

What an amazing experience with our very entertaining and knowledgable tour guide, Ellie! The lakes are breathtaking and the sunset tour is amazing because our group of 6 had Lake Moraine all to ourselves! The highlight for me was seeing a black bear during the wildlife portion. I also recommend adding in the dinner because the sandwiches were amazing. And Ellie brought plenty of beverages and bug spray. 10/10!!
