Als regionale pionier van elandensafari’s sinds 2008 hebben we honderden gasten begeleid en jarenlang lokale wildbewegingen geobserveerd. Deze ervaring stelt ons in staat om exclusieve safari gebieden te selecteren en routes te plannen op basis van elanden activiteit, seizoensgebonden gedrag en lokale omstandigheden. In tegenstelling tot standaard sightseeing drives, richten we ons op het maximaliseren van wildlife viewing mogelijkheden. Onze routes vermijden drukbezochte gebieden, wat leidt tot rustigere locaties met minder verstoring en betere kansen op ontmoetingen met wilde dieren. Ondanks hun indrukwekkende omvang zijn elanden verrassend moeilijk te vinden. Het spotten ervan vereist lokale kennis, geduld en timing. Onze gidsen gebruiken hun inzicht in het gedrag van elanden en lokale omstandigheden om de best mogelijke gelegenheid te bieden voor waarnemingen. Als er een eland wordt gevonden, observeren we deze respectvol van een veilige afstand met een verrekijker. Ontworpen voor kleine groepen, biedt deze rustige en duurzame safari een authentieke manier om de wilde dieren en natuur van Lapland te ervaren.

Het spotten van een eland in het wild is echt een bijzondere ervaring. Deze majestueuze dieren bewegen zich geruisloos door de bossen en gaan bijna naadloos op in het uitgestrekte Arctische landschap – waardoor elke waarneming zeldzaam en onvergetelijk aanvoelt. Er een vinden vergt geduld, lokale kennis en een beetje geluk, wat het moment nog lonender maakt. Als we het geluk hebben om een eland te spotten, observeren we hem respectvol van een veilige afstand met een verrekijker, waardoor u de kans krijgt om dit ongelooflijke dier in zijn natuurlijke habitat te bewonderen. Omringd door rustige wildernis en zacht avondlicht, biedt deze ervaring ook fantastische mogelijkheden voor foto's en video's van de prachtige Lappish natuur.

I’m sorry to say we had an unpleasant experience on the moose safari adventure. The guide/owner Veli, worked hard to help us see moose but we were very uncomfortable with how rudely he treated staff member, Zuzana, and interacted with guests. This lovely young woman who transported us, tried very hard to compensate for the negative experience we had. As a result of his behavior, we cancelled a second excursion we had booked with the company. I would not recommend spending money on this excursion with this particular guide. It was not at all typical of the interactions we’ve had with Finnish people.

Commercially tinted company. Start safari 20:45 end 02:00. Guide told me she was not vaccinated against covid in 2023. So back wearing a face mask to protect yourself, in the van. Not even wearing a mouth mask correctly. You'll spot moose but you only get 2 sec to take a picture and driver leaves looking for the next one. The intention seems to be to spot as many animals as possible during the safari. This is not worth repeating. In Finland there are locals where animal spotting does offer very good.
The meaning of this safari is to see wild animals and especially moose. This is the only moose safari in Europe with moose sighting guaranteed! We have run this safari for 27 years and many visitors come second or third time. This summer we also visit eagle's nest and enjoy great snacks and visit also antler exhibition! Moose sighting is guaranteed!
Please guide and suggest a family trip in early June 2023 for 14-20 days to Finland, Sweden, and Norway. Need the most scenic and memorable trip guide. Thanking you

The safari was very eventful, we saw a moose family 6 animals in total. The guide took a lot of time to find the animals. It was a great experience to get to know the nature of Finland. Thanks for the great evening.

Despite the Covered time, the moose saferi was a wonderful experience! Our very good guide (unfortunately I don't remember the name) picked us up at our hotel around 7pm. After a half hour drive south-west we found ourselves in the wilderness: blueberries and other berries, mushrooms and many types of trees and conifers! We saw a couple of eagles in their huge nest above a pine tree, wild rabbits, other birds and birds of prey and a reindeer. After stopping for a delicious snack at the Kätkävaara Aurora Apartments, we resumed the tour and finally saw a gorgeous huge female moose! The safari lasted a total of about 5 hours and around midnight we returned to Rovaniemi. If you happen to be in the area this tour is highly recommended, the guide is very prepared and enthusiastic and will make you spend a nice evening in nature!

After driving around in the arctic for 2 weeks, we hadn't seen a single moose so we booked this safari as a last chance to see one before heading home. We recommend this safari to anyone interested in arctic wildlife, it was so much fun! Our ranger/guide was very good, knowledgeable and full of enthusiasm. The service was excellent and best of all: we saw a pretty big moose! Best way to end our trip with a bang!

It was a nice experience. The guide really was eager to find moose and also stopped for other animals on the way.
It was a beautiful and well-arranged experience. We wanted to see some wildlife of Finland and didn’t know where to go. On internet we found out about the tours of Lapland Welcome. Our tourguides were trustworthy and showed us the best spots to see mooses and other wildlife animals. We ended up seeing two ospreys (fish hawks), one grouse (birds king of the forest) and 7 mooses! Of which a beautiful female moose with her calf and a huge male moose looking for date material. It was wonderful to see our tourguide being so passionate about wildlife, spotting the animals and being in the nature. It was lovely to see that he had the best intentions for nature and he told us several times that: nature shows you what it wants to show you. It’s the details that we appreciate about this tour: the drive from Rovaniemi and back, the break with coffee and pancakes, the instructions how to open the door quick for when we would see mooses and the fact that we could use his binoculars to watch the animals. We would definately recommend this tour instead of going to a wildlife park! We also got a few pictures the day after. Thank you so much, Kiitos!!
