Moorea Explorer ATV-quadtour

The quad bike excursion is, in principle, really nice and the equipment was very good. Unfortunately, the weather conditions were so bad that we were practically unable to do anything that was planned: no eels, no river crossing, no viewpoints because of the fog. In the end, we essentially just went quad biking, without being able to enjoy the various sites advertised. So the price was very expensive for what it was (€100/person). The most regrettable thing is that when we returned to our guesthouse, we were told that the organizer had contacted them saying it would have been better to cancel the excursion given the conditions. We would have really appreciated being notified directly before departure so we could reschedule the activity, rather than paying for an excursion where a large part of the appeal was inaccessible. It’s a shame, because the excursion certainly has a lot of potential in good weather, but in our case, we left with a feeling of disappointment.

What an amazing day! Luis with Moorea Explorers picked us up at our hotel and drove us to the starting point. The adventure entailed highlighting 4 sites for breathtaking photos and information. We went to Belvedere Lookout, the pineapple farms, to the creek to see the eels and magic mountain!! Absolutely fantastic! We rode on various terrains including paved roads, dirt roads, lots of curves and going through small creeks! Could not have had a better experience!

Great experience to see the sights of Moorea. Very fun day. The views were beautiful and the guide was great.

Beautiful scenery, but at times the roads were very rough and a little brutal on the body. Our guide was good and helpful with hand signals as needed for slowing, blinkers left on etc.

Our guide was awesome. He was so friendly and kind. The other couple we were with had just gotten married so he quickly made them hats and explained the Tahitian tradition behind them. We had an amazing time and loved seeing Moorea this way. Highly recommend!!

It was a great experience. Even though it rained much of the day it added to the experience. The ATVs ran well and the guide picked a fun route. We had an opportunity at the end of the ride open up off road since we all were experienced motorcyclist.

Very nice discovery of this beautiful island in Quad (a first for me) thanks to Coco who put me in confidence and made me progress quickly. I really loved the quad bike as much as the explanations Coco gave us!

Mata was a wonderful guide- you can tell he gets a ton of joy out of showing people around the island. We made fun stops, and had incredible views at all of the main points. Would highly recommend! When booking through viator, we did not get a separate pickup time so we assumed it was the same as the start time and had to switch to an afternoon tour. Everything worked out, but something to keep in mind.
