We did 4 excursions with them, all amazing, a beautiful experience Thank you, Percy, for your attention and for answering all the questions
My friend and I had a wonderful experience traveling with Inti Para, and especially with Percy, in San Pedro de Atacama. We did the astronomical tour, the Valley of the Moon, the Puritama Hot Springs, and the hidden Baltinache Lagoons. I loved everything, the entire experience, from the first WhatsApp months before our arrival to the last day. Percy even suggested changing the date of the astronomical tour so that we could see more stars, and advised us on how and where to go on our own during our free time, both before and after the tours. All prices included the entrance fees, they always picked us up at our hostel, we had all the information at hand, and Percy was always available online. They were 10+ days. If you want to travel through Atacama, do not hesitate to contact Inti Para and Percy. It is a wonderful experience!
The number 1 attraction of San Pedro de Atacama. Some say it's very crowded and the agencies end up exploring another place called Vallecito, but we chose to go to Valle de La Luna itself, the original attraction. It is important to say that the attractions are usually within indigenous reserves and each community has a different way of working. In this case, there is a website with accurate information for you to schedule your visit. We did all the tours alone, the access is easy, you pay the entrance on time with a card in a totem. Then you receive the instructions for the internal visit. Basically you drive to an internal parking lot, to the car and follow a trail to the attractions. The trails are well indicated, in some viewpoints you find guard parks, and the view is always breathtaking. The time of visit depends on your pace of walking. The entrance to Valle de La Luna gives right to the Mirador Ckari, better known as Stone of the Coyote, there has a wonderful sunset. Program yourself to do it on the same day. This viewpoint is outside the central part of the park, you have to pick up the road direction Calama and make this access, pay attention, because the entrance is on the other side of the piste and the plaque confuses a little with the landscape. Tip: take water and snacks, as there is nothing to buy in this place.
Mya (?) Messaged me 4 hours before the tour to arrange pick up, but didn't even seem to know where or what time it was supposed to be. Said she was afraid I wouldn't reply on time - why not arrange pick up weeks or days ahead like other tour groups?? Then they messaged me saying they would pick me up at the hotel, went past my hotel, called me to say why wasn't I at the agency... why not just have a clear plan to pick everyone up at the hotel as already planned??? At the correct time we booked for???Also, she kept stuffing me around with payment for the park fee. I offered to give it to the guide and she asked me 3 times for something that was her mistake, asking me what happened. Uh, why don't the staff communicate with each other??? I had already told the guide about it in the morning, then offered to give it to him, and she had the audacity to ask me to go to the agency to pay it. They had all afternoon to sort it out with each other. That was an unfortunate and stressful souring of the tour, which was actually good. Ivan the guide and Dani the driver were great. The food was good, Ivan was very friendly and informative, and Dani was a good driver. :)
What a fun tour!! It was easy to arrange the meeting place, and after a short ride, where our wonderful guide, Juan, explained some of the region’s geography, we arrived in the Valley of the Moon. Once arrived, there was a bit of hiking to get views of this incredible, otherworldly landscape. Juan provided us with a lot of information but such humor and such a sense of fun, that it never felt dull or like too much. After this, we stopped at a beautiful spot where he and the driver set up some drinks and snacks, a then we headed to a prime location to see the amazing sunset imaginable. It was a wonderful tour and one I’d highly recommend!
The excellent guide Kevin worried about the whole group, explains every detail of the expedition, has goodwill with his driver Carlos We'll take another tour of the guide
5 points. Percy, our travel agent, arranged a two-and-a-half-day trip for us, and with his help we visited the desert 🏜️ Geysers Starry Sky ⭐ Salt Lake Flamingo 🦩, which gave me a strong shock, much like northwest China. This trip to Atacama went very well, and Atacama in northern Chile is well worth visiting.
I had such a positive experience working with Claudia! From start to finish, she was so helpful, patient, and easy to communicate with. She always responded quickly to me and made sure I had all the details I needed, which really took the stress out of me having to plan everything Claudia helped me book two amazing tours, Valley de la Luna and the Uyuni Salt Flat's and both were absolute highlights of my trip to San Pedro. Everything ran smoothly, and the experiences were even better than I expected. I really appreciated how open and professional Claudia was throughout the whole process. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and wants them to have the best experience possible. Highly recommend working with her!
Interesting landscape and worth a visit, though the free views from the main road looking down were as good as any. The walks were interesting as well
A big thank you to Marlon! A very interested and interesting guide, who knows everything about everything and knows how to maintain interest and attention, while caring about each member of the group. His knowledge is impressive and he knew how to make the excursion incredible!!
