Walvissen kijken zoals je nog nooit hebt meegemaakt. Ons team geeft u de mogelijkheid om getuige te zijn van de spectaculaire migratie van bultruggen voor de schilderachtige Sunshine Coast boven en onder water! Hij neemt slechts 20 passagiers mee en geeft iedereen een stoel op de eerste rij om getuige te zijn van adembenemende breuken, luide staartklappen, spionagesprongen en penduleworpen aan boord van onze nieuwe op maat gemaakte Woody Marine 1200HP Rib. Onze deskundige schipper zal u voorzien van onderhoudend en informatief commentaar dat u leert over deze majestueuze wezens terwijl u ze ziet stoeien en spelen! Beter dan dit wordt het niet.

Mooloolaba Beach is onlangs door Tripadvisor uitgeroepen tot het zesde beste strand van Australië en staat bekend als een van de mooiste stranden aan de Sunshine Coast.
Point Cartwright, aan de ene kant geflankeerd door de oceaan en de Mooloolah-rivier aan de andere kant, is een prachtig strand, gelegen aan de voet van de landtong aan het noordelijke uiteinde van Kawana Beach. Bekijk de iconische vuurtoren Point Cartwright en het met een oceaanthema geschilderde reservoir.
Alexandra Headland heeft een ontspannen en relaxte sfeer die een aanvulling is op de rustgevende glooiende branding en uitnodigende stranden. De belangrijkste attractie van Alexandra Headland is de prachtige kustgevel met strand, landtong en parken die zich kilometers noordelijk en zuidelijk uitstrekken.
Old Woman Island (of Mudjimba Island) ligt 1 km uit de kust. Er zijn een aantal Aboriginal legendes in overvloed over het eiland. Men heeft het, het eiland was het resultaat van een epische strijd tussen twee mannen, Coolum en Ninderry, en een vrouw genaamd Maroochy. Het eindresultaat was dat Coolum's hoofd eraf werd geslagen en in de oceaan belandde, waardoor Mudjimba Island ontstond. Mount Coolum, zeven kilometer naar het noorden, is nu plat door het ontbreken van een hoofd! Er zijn verschillende andere legendes over Aboriginal-vrouwen die tot op hoge leeftijd op het eiland woonden, vandaar de naam "Oude Vrouw".

What an incredible experience!! Loved the fact this was a smaller boat that was quick to respond to sightings. The crew were fantastic and I really appreciated the extra conversations, the sharing of previous trip experiences and viewing their personal videos. Highly, HIGHLY recommend choosing this trip.
This is great for everyone young and old. The operators were lovely and so was the day. Was really happy with the experience.

Thank you Jack Shea!! We had an absolutely amazing whale watching tour with Adventure Rafting! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly organized. The entire crew was incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming. The information and explanations throughout the tour were excellent. Their knowledge about whales was extensive, fascinating, and shared with so much enthusiasm that it made the experience even more special. A special compliment to our captain, who knew exactly where to take us. During our two-hour tour, we spent around an hour and a half watching whales almost continuously. Seeing these magnificent animals so close in their natural habitat was a dream come true. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Australia. Outstanding service, excellent guidance, and an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Thank you, Adventure Rafting, for giving us such an incredible day. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Sunshine Coast! 5 stars!
Operators were knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly. They were able to locate a whale relatively quickly, and follow the whale as it moved around, offering several viewing chances for the passengers.
Excellent outing. The crew were friendly and excited. They were informative and really took their time with all the sightings. We got back 30 minutes overtime, but we saw so many whales, the captain didn't want to rush the experience. Loved this. Thanks 😊
The event was nauseatingly awful with rough seas. Unfortunately weather reports are not always reliable. Most everyone got sea sick and two of my party had neck strains because of the severe bouncing around in your seat. I would recommend the skipper look at the ocean and not just rely on the weather in future. If it’s too rough - even when you’re on your way - stop and call it. Passengers will appreciate that. Very hard to see whales in that kind of seas and we didn’t. Just not worth the risk.
If you love a thrill the boat ride out and back is super speedy and if there's a bit of a swell you will get splashed and bumped around a bit! The animals were beautiful to see, the island was fun as well! And the staff were lovely! Informative, kind, funny. If you have a bad back maybe skip it if it's a rough day on the ocean. Seeing the Mooloolaba/Coolum skyline from out at sea was a great and humbling experience. Seeing the mountains was also wonderful!
The staff were amazing with their friendly explanations and smiles. It was great to see the communication between boats for the sighting of whales and we were so lucky to see a mum, calf and escort.
Fantastic small group tour. Our crew Rod & Jake were fabulous, informative & professional. We learnt so much about humpback whales in such a short time. The boat was very comfortable, zippy & viewing was great as group was small. We saw/followed 3 pods during the two hours watching mum, baby & their escort which was fascinating. We were lucky enough to see a breach with our last pod which was incredible. Our first whale watching tour & we were not disappointed. The two hours flew by but was also perfect timing if you don't want to be out for half a day. Highly recommended with a great ethical crew. Thank you
