Ontsnap aan de drukte en ervaar Montserrat op zijn rustigst. Deze kleine groepsreis in de vroege ochtend (max. 6 personen per Gids) is ontworpen voor degenen die op een rustige, ongehaaste manier van de berg willen genieten — met de tijd om de natuurlijke schoonheid en spirituele essentie echt in zich op te nemen. Bij aankomst hoor je het zachte getjilp van vogels en adem je de frisse berglucht in, omringd door weelderige groene bomen. Reis comfortabel naar Montserrat, op slechts 50 km van Barcelona, en geniet van een ontspannen bezoek aan de beroemde basiliek. Wandel vervolgens tussen de prachtige grillige toppen en bewonder panoramische uitzichten zonder de gebruikelijke drukte. Deze rustige start van de dag laat je diep in contact komen met het landschap en de sfeer — voordat de meeste bezoekers arriveren. Je keert terug naar Barcelona met de hele middag voor de boeg om op je eigen tempo verder te verkennen.

We halen je om 8.00 uur op voor het Olivia Plaza Hotel in Barcelona om vroeg in de ochtend aan te komen in Montserrat en alle drukte en lange wachtrijen te vermijden. We gaan rechtstreeks naar Montserrat in semi-privé en comfortabel vervoer met een kleine groep, ongeveer een uur rijden. Onderweg bewonder je de bergen van Montserrat, terwijl je dichtbij komt, zul je genieten van hoe de wegen krapper worden en hoe groener en frisser het wordt. Eenmaal bovenaan neemt je gids je mee op een wandeltocht door het klooster, waarbij de geologische formatie van de berg en de geschiedenis van de Maagd (Zwarte Madonna) worden uitgelegd. We bezoeken de basiliek waar je een mis kunt bijwonen en kunt genieten van het prachtige interieur, en de unieke kapellen kunt zien onder begeleiding van je gids. Houd er rekening mee dat we kaartjes voor u reserveren en dat we de toegangsprijs voor de tour innen bij het inchecken. Prijs: 6€
Je hebt vrije tijd om een kopje koffie te drinken in een van de cafetaria's of het Monserrat Restaurant of om rond de basiliek te wandelen en het prachtige uitzicht te bewonderen. Of u kunt gewoon zitten, ontspannen en luisteren naar het fluiten van vogels en herinneren hoe de tijd verstrijkt met het klokkenspel van de basiliek.
Nadat we de batterijen hebben opgeladen, gaan we naar het kruis van Monserrat Sant Miquel. Je maakt een kleine, aangename en moeiteloze wandeling van 20 minuten, langs een kleine stenen kapel en meesterlijk vervaardigde heiligenbeelden, om uit te komen bij een prachtig observatiedek, met een groot kruis in het midden, waar je al de schoonheid van het klooster kunt waarderen vanaf een ander perspectief. Hier kunt u de beste foto's maken terwijl u het uitzicht bewondert vanaf de Pyreneeën tot aan de Llobregat Delta.
Na een ochtend om te ontspannen en nieuwe energie op te doen, ga je met comfortabel vervoer terug naar Barcelona om de rest van de dag door te brengen in een van de prachtige attracties.

Great timing with the morning -- nice lighting and no/minimal crowds. Sophie is a superb tour guide. Very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and informative. Rafa is an excellent driver. The Mercedes van was new, very clean and comfy. Classy! Montserrat is a ""do not miss experience!"

Montserrat is a must see and takes you out of the city for so much history. Carlos was an excellent tour guide and also gave us leisurely free time. Would highly recommend this tour in the morning when less crowded.

Moms arrest is Considered a magic Mountain with the monastery basilica and so much more! Our Tour guide Carlos was very friendly knowledgeable and professional. We also enjoyed the ride in the countryside The museum was interesting. The Mountain itself spectacular. The driver was courteous and a safe driver. The only surprise was having to pay an additional 18 euros after the tour for “tickets”. I recommend this tour highly

It was a cold and windy day, blustery even, but the mountain was beautiful and Sofia was an excellent guide, competent, conscientious, and gracious. We were her only two customers that morning but she gave us her all.

Amazing tour with a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. This is the perfect tour to see the Montserrat. We arrived before the crowds and learned many great facts and information about the history of the area. The ride to Montserrat was quick and filled with great conversations as were learned about Barcelona! We also learned many tips and places to visit while in Barcelona. This is a must tour for everyone and its only half the day.
