Je wandeltocht omvat zowel must-see plekken als verborgen schatten van Montmartre Village, in de voetsporen van de impressionistische kunstenaars die zich lieten inspireren door lokale sites. Je ziet filmopnames van de beroemde Franse 'Amelie van Montmartre' en nog veel meer. Je voelt de sfeer van het hippe, kunstzinnige en historische dorp Montmartre en zijn eclectische locaties. Le Bateau-Lavoir was een populaire ontmoetingsplaats voor beroemde kunstenaars uit het begin van de 20e eeuw. Picasso kwam voor het eerst naar Parijs in 1900 en werd verliefd op de stad en haar sfeer. We passeren het atelier van Picasso in Montmartre

We discovered this pretty village in the city with its artists, cabarets, houses, mills and its little streets of Montmartre before arriving at the Sacré Coeur. We had a private tour of Montmartre on Christmas morning—thank you, Jill, for agreeing to do it on Christmas!—and it was truly the highlight of our week in Paris.
