Stop om het Zabala-plein te bezoeken, monument van de stichter van onze stad, tijd voor foto's en bekijk de omliggende architectuur.
Stop om het eerste opgerichte plein van Montevideo te bezoeken, bezoek de Metropolitan Cathedral, tijd om het plein met de eerste drinkfontein van de oude stad te bezoeken en tijd voor een wandeling rond de beurs van ambachtslieden en antiek.
Bezoek ons belangrijkste plein van Montevideo in het centrum. In de omgeving kunnen we verschillende monumenten en belangrijke gebouwen zien. Momument van onze Gral. José G. Artigas held van ons land. Bezoek het mausoleum van hem, waar we de as zullen vinden van de generaal en twee (2) soldaten (Blandengues) die het mausoleum bewaken. Foto's van het Palacio Salvo een van de mooiste architecturen van onze stad, in het verleden beschouwd als de hoogste in Zuid-Amerika. Estevez Palace-Eerste regeringsgebouw, huidig historisch museum van presidenten van ons land. Presidential Executive toren en The Gate of Citadel Monument.
Stop om foto's te maken en de geschiedenis van het paleis, de zetel van de wetgevende macht van Uruguay, uit te leggen. Daar werkt de Algemene Vergadering.
We bezoeken de landbouwmarkt van Montevideo, een van de grootste. De bouw begon in 1906 en duurde tot 1912. Verklaart een Nationaal Historisch Monument sinds 1999.
Stadspark waar we het Monument La Carreta en het Centennial Stadium zullen bezoeken, de locatie van de eerste wereldbeker in 1930 en georganiseerd door de FIFA. Als de groep passagiers het stadion binnen wil bezoeken, moet u een kaartje betalen dat niet bij onze tour is inbegrepen. Om het stadion vanaf de Olympische tribune van binnen te zien, is de prijs ongeveer 3 dollar per persoon.
We bezoeken de Rambla, een lange avenur van ongeveer 25 km die grenst aan de kust van de Silver River in Montevideo. We stoppen bij het stadsbord voor foto's en genieten van het prachtige panoramische uitzicht over de wijk en het strand. Keer terug naar de haven van Montevideo om een deel van de Rambla en de wijken Punta Carretas en Rodo Park te verkennen.

We passeren het oude Hotel Casino Carrasco (tegenwoordig door Sofitel) en terug naar de haven maken we een complete wandeling langs de kust van Montevideo, de stranden en de spectaculaire uitzichten

We were met by our driver/guide right on time and where he said they would be. We were there on a Sunday. So the good news is there was no traffic, and no crowds at all. At times, it was like visiting a ghost town, which makes it hard to get a real feel for the city. But the operator has no control over that. It is a beautiful city. We did get to see what were the citys high lights. Guide was very knowledgable on the history of the city and country. Very enjoyable and would highly recommend.

Arrived at Montevideo on a cruise ship and pre-booked this private tour. The driver/Guide Andrea pick us up at the cruise terminal and he is excellent and speak fluent English. We had a wonderful time in Montevideo with our guide, Andres. He showed us the city in a friendly and hospitable way. The tour van was luxurious and very spacious. We saw the city’s main sights, tried traditional mate, and had a lunch with perfect Uruguayan asado and beef. I highly recommend this tour to all visitors of Montevideo. It is especially convenient for cruise passengers since it starts right from the port.

Paulo was an excellent tour guide who was patient, friendly, knowledgeable, and excellent at providing the history of the city and Uruguay. His van was well-equipped, with excellent legroom for everyone. After four hours, I felt we had a much better understanding of the city, its people, and Uruguay's history. The pace was perfect for three seniors who are not particularly active. I would highly recommend this tour for a brief but excellent introduction to Montevedio.

Guide is located outside of main gate which was a bit of a walk to meet him. Tour was very good and he was very informative. He should us the city highlights and the ride was comfortable.

Very good tour. The guide very friendly and answered all our questions. Even though everything was closed he did his best to show us everything. He took us to eat at a very rich restaurant. I definitely recommend it
