Ontdek de verborgen wereld van Monteverde in het donker tijdens een begeleide nachtwandeling onder leiding van een ervaren lokale natuuronderzoeker. Terwijl het bos tot leven komt, ga je op zoek naar nachtdieren die de meeste bezoekers overdag nooit kunnen zien. Met behulp van getrainde waarnemingsvaardigheden en een krachtige spotting scope, zal je Gids je helpen slapende vogels, luiaards, kikkers, tarantula's, insecten, slangen, gordeldieren en andere fascinerende wezens te vinden die na zonsondergang tevoorschijn komen. Elke wandeling is anders, waardoor elke ervaring uniek en spannend is. Deze tour met kleine groepen vindt plaats in het Monteverde Wildlife Refuge, waar gemakkelijke paden uitstekende mogelijkheden bieden voor het observeren en fotograferen van wilde dieren. Onderweg leer je over dierengedrag, camouflage, ecosystemen en de opmerkelijke aanpassingen die deze soorten in staat stellen om 's nachts in het nevelwoud te gedijen. We whole-heartedly recommend Three Brothers Tours! Not only are their prices more reasonable than many other companies, but their passion and expertise are truly second to none. We enjoyed our first tour (a night walk) so much that we booked a second tour of Curi Cancha for the very next day. Our group of three adults and two kids (ages 8 and 11) had a fantastic time with Alexander and Mauricio. Both brothers are engaging, kind, and fun, with a natural ability to keep both adults and kids captivated. They never rushed us and took their time sharing their deep knowledge of the area. Incredible tour with Elbert! We got to see agouti, toucans, frogs, scorpions, and cool insects. He also gave explanations about the wildlife!
Our guide Eliar was very knowledgeable, found many animals (including snakes, toucans, scorpions,...) and also gave sufficient and clear explanations. Unfortunately, a sloth was not there but we had already spotted it somewhere else. This trip is definitely recommended.
Our guide was nice and knowledgeable. He really made an effort to make sure we saw as much as possible. We saw frogs, bats, snakes, dragonflies, toucans, kinkajous, and even a baby and mama sloth.
